A Few Questions I Had for the Gentleman....

1. At what age did you decided that you wanted to be a musician?
I come from a very musical family, so the influence has been there since earlier than I could remember. But, to be more specific, it  took a more serious role in my life around my mid-teens.

2. When did you become an ordained reverened?
August 6th, 1998

3. How many bands have you been in counting the wonderful into darkness?
4 in total, including Into Darkness.

4.How did into darkness form?
StJames and I had known each other for awhile. I wasnt happy with the band I was in at the time, and he was looking to record ideas.  We ended up collaborating, and other members came shortly after.  The rest is history.  It's fun, thinking back, because I didnt even tell the other band I was quitting until after Into Darkness was set into motion. You could say, I decided to "Go Further.":P

5.When you are composing lyrics what is the top thought that gives you inspiration for most of the songs?
There's no top thought in my writing inspirationally, but I do try to walk the tightrope of expressing personal experience, while leaving things open to interpretation. It's more important for me to inspire others.

6. When you look back on your life so far is there anything you would change even in the slightest detail?
Plenty, but I'd rather occupy my brain with whats ahead of me.

7. You recently acted in a horror movie called Midnight Mass what is your role in it?
I played "Vichy#3" in Midnight Mass.  Dont let the name fool you, it's a principal character in the film.   They get their name from  the French Vichy army that were simpathetic to Nazi Germany.
The Vichy are sort-of a gang of goths that hunt other humans during the daylight, to feed the vampires.  They have their own agenda, which will be explained in the film.

8. In the future if you persue the acting gig is there any certain director you would love to work with?
I will persue, no "if" about it.
I'm a big fan of John Carpenter and Clive Barker.

9.  Out of the many many horror films there are , which one is your ultimate favorite and why?
I'm a huge fan of the Dead trilogy (Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead).  The "world-wide phenomenon" circumstances in the storyline attracted me particularly.
In fact, that  was one of the main reasons why I was so pleased to be involved in Midnight Mass.  It bears a striking resemblance, in my opinion, to the Dead Trilogy.

10.  What is the most outrageous thing you have done at a show?
I"ve cracked my skull a few times while performing.  Thats always pleasant.

11.  When you burn the bible on stage , what do you think it symbolizes?
I usually do that while performing Abort/Retry. Read the lyrics and make your own summation. ;P

12.  Out of all your tattoos which one is your favorite and why?
I never really thought of it like that.  Tattoos are an extension of yourself, and  I dont really have a favorite body part.

13.  On your Bio it states that Abort/Retry is your favorite song ..why is that?
Actually, I sent an update to our slowpoke webmaster to change that, hahahaha!!!
But, for a time, that was my favorite for personal reasons. I'd rather not say what they are, for others may already have found their own personal meaning.

14.  Whose your number one fan , whom you love bunches! :D ??
I'ts certainly not The Gideons International!
I'm not going there!  I love everyone who's been supportive.
