Staffordshire Weston Park
It took a while but four years after the event I finally wrote a V99 review. This was my first ever music festival and it'll always be special for that reason. And, of course, because SFA, Suede, the Manics and Travis were there! People? I went with Ali, 40, Taf and Joel. Nick and Sam were foolishly on a holiday that has long been forgotten. I didn't have my tent at this time so stayed in a horrid little thing with 40. Not as bad as Joel though, who had to sleep in the porch of the big tent, vulnerable to one or two scary old guys... Very funny! There also was no alcohol or anything - this one really was about the music!!
