This top 100 chart reflects current listening and anyone can get to the top, which is why it's interesting for me at least! On a technical front, I should note I've excluded performers derived from bands I like, hence there's no room for Ffa Coffi Pawb, Neon Neon, Brian and Dennis Wilson, Euros Childs and Richard James, or John Lennon and Paul McCartney. I felt it was too difficult to separate the merits of their solo careers from the bands so have not tried to do so. The exceptions are King Monkey Ian Brown and any projects by Damon Albarn, both of whom I feel have earned separate status due to the quality and different style of their other work!
