I believe this page is a fair reflection of the near total monopoly Nintendo have had over good computer games through the years. Sadly things went downhill when Sony and Microsoft come along and tried to destroy the market with their obsession for games designed to appeal to those who are only concerned with how "cool" it looks. Such games seem to be completely lacking in imagination and only concerned with wandering around in glossy but pointless landscapes doing very little. I'm very pleased to see that the success of the Wii has helped restore the balance and I can always look on this top 50 list as proof that great computer games have been made and I wouldn't be surprised if future generations will look upon titles like these as part of the golden age of gaming.
