Singer Philip 'Byron'
Elzerman, the ever vital frontman with the
hypnotizing voice
and still the proud owner of the 1965 Kicks And
Chicks flute !
Ruud Van Seventer,
in 1966 the 'concrete' bassfoundation' in Blues
Incorporated and
from 1968 on the rock in the psychedelic tide of
the improvising
Zippers.
Guitarist Peter
Nuyten, who, during the remastering of 35 year old
recordings for
the new Zipps CD got the inspiration to dust off his
old Beat &
Poetry guitar.
Multi instrumentalist
Janco Barut who, from the band Heatwave, joined
the Zipps in may
1969 and supplied extra vocals and looooong solos.
He joins us once
again with a solid keyboard sound.
Original drummer
John Noce Santoro for whom the line "don't wanna live
a life so quietly"
from Kicks and Chicks could be written. His motto:
Zildjian forever
!
Wim Klein, who
took over the sticks from John in 1967, can be heard
on the "Lotus Love"
single, and was also part of the 1982 reunion concert.
