Musical information

How long have you been playing? : I've been playing drums for about five years.

Have you had any other bands before this? If so what are the names? : I've been in several rock bands that kinda fizzled before getting too far. I've also played in jazz bands and classical orchestras.

What are your major (5) musical influences?: Carter Beauford, John Bonham, Joey Kramer, Matt Cameron, & Dave Grohl.

What are your favorite bands (3)?: Choosing just 3 is tough. I'd hafta say Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Aerosmith.

What do you love about music and what has it done for you?: I've been playing music since I was very young, so music has pretty much always been part of me . I've played classical violin, classical and jazz piano in addition to drums, so I've been exposed to and enjoy many different genres of music. I love playing with people and making something together that sounds good. Things can be said through music that can't be said any other way.

Moral/opinion?: You gotta take what life gives you and do what you can to make it good. Stay laid back.

Religion: I'm agnostic although I was raised Catholic and went regularly to church and CCD classes most of my life. I don't believe in the existence of a higher being, but I can't say beyond doubt that it doesn't exist. I think it's impossible to know if there is or isn't a god, and therefore the existence of god is irrelevant to how one should live their lives. However, one should have devotion in their life or their life will become meaningless.
