Fanfest is simply a carefree, do as you wish, holiday. Around people alot like you.

Rod Stewart FANFEST is somewhat misleading. In it's beginning it was called RODFEST, because it's about Rod Stewart and it is his music that has brought us ALL together. But it's much more than him. It's about the fans, and hence renamed a couple of years ago to FANFEST. Because once we are together, like in Memphis and this summer in GULF SHORES, ALABAMA, it's the people who attend that matter! Fanfest is a celebration of the heart and souls of people! People like you and others who share in the powerful influence of music! At Fanfest we celebrate eachother, not just a rock legend. Sure we listen to ROD music. I can't imagine anyone in this group going through a day without his awesome music. But, we share memories, dreams. Some just so happen to include Rod Stewart. Undoubtedly, some don't. And, knowing that's acceptable, brings everyone together.

So ROD STEWART FANFEST IS....what you want it to be. What you need it to be. Satisfying your soul, whether you are riding high on life or finding yourself struggling through it. It's about two people sharing an early morning conversation over a cup of tea or coffee. A walk along the BEACH with a handful of people discussing the meaning of life or just breathing it in. Other times it's a larger group of people having a rompous time around the pool! It's about 'Stewart-party of forty, your table is ready' dinner together. It's about laughter! It's about some tears and the shoulder accepting them. It's about past experiences or future plans shared between friends.

Besides the difficult 'goodbyes at the end of the weekend, it's a soul-stirring, smilin' faces, event. It's certain you'll never be the same afterwards!
