"Pain Lies On The Riverside" by Live from the Mental Jewelry
Tabbed by R. Allen Canterbury

I'm not sure about the chorus or bridge parts...what I have written is a
very simple way to play it (the roots of the chords basically...) so do
whatever you like in that part. I get the feeling this song played 1/2 step
below standard tuning (Eb,Ab,Db,Gb) since Live usually tunes down...but you
can play it the way I have it written and it sounds cool. I indicate the
verse riff as being played slap-style. You can use a pick and turn the highs
up if you like to get that slap-like sound. The verse is played quickly so
if your slap technique is lagging or a bit slow, it'd be hard to play w/o a
pick. Hey...it's just notes. You play them as you like!
