i think its time for a rant...

Hola fellow viewers, i'm quite happy to know that five of you have made your way to this wonderful part of the site. However, i must first issue this warning, "All ye who enter here abandon all previous beliefs to what is so called 'right and wrong' for it surely will be questioned here." A thought came into my little head today and i have been beset by the fact that i cannot recapture the emotions that i felt at the time, so i will try and explain as clearly as possible. Recently i had a discussion with a friend, actually a couple of friends at different points in time, concerning the conceitedness of a certain person. Well, that just got me thinking, which is bad enough in the first place...but i began trying to contemplate how one would go about forming such a high opinion of themself. Do these people honestly believe that they are THAT important in comparison to everything else that exists??? If only i could have but a few brief moments with a person who thinks in such a way so that i would be able to elicit some type of information leading to the possibility of understanding how their inner mind works. i would then, however, try and explain to them my point of view on things...(haha, i can barely get my own dogs to listen to me let alone another person)we are here, on this earth i guess you could say, for only a brief moment in time, mere seconds, if you will, with comparison to the eternity that has already been and has yet to be. It like somebody lighting a match in the wind, for a brief second after one strikes the match it remains lit, but after that it is gone...never to give off heat or light again. With that in mind, why would anyone think that their existence is more importance then the existence of another person or even something else...in the end we will not be remembered or valued by how much intelligence we have...we will not be remembered or valued by how much money we have earned throughout our lives...we will not be remembered or valued for how much power we have obtained or our social status...All these things will no longer matter in the end, they will cease to be, such as the blue parrot in Monty Python, because we will have no need for them when we ourselves cease to be. Money, what exactly is it...ITS A PIECE OF FRIGGIN PAPER!!!!! The only reason it has any value whatsoever is because some ass in the past decided to place a value on it, and other people bought into that, so to speak. Even before that we have always felt the need to place a higher value on some type of material so that we would be able to trade or buy things, but only if we as a person were able to prosper a substantial amount in some way...But no matter what the material that had value placed on it, we as a people, had to have it...This may seem a little off topic, but hell, its my damn page and i'll do what i want to haha...Anyway, this stuff has no importance whatsoever unless you think it does, and seeing as how much of the world is a collective brain, everybody has placed the utmost value upon it, and is probably why so many people who have so much of it decide that they want MORE of it and so many other people just have to settle to live in penury. So many people who believe that they are most important of all are the reason why so many other people throughout history, have and will continue to suffer. Also, much of the downfall in history can be accredited to the belief that one person is greater than the rest, even if we like to blame it on other things and say that we have the right to do such things thanks to the great and powerful "GOD". i mean come on, God was not here during the invention of the wheel...no spirits live in the trees, for if they did i'm sure they would have thought of some way to kick our asses for tearing down most of the trees present on the Earth...Satan was not responsible for the fire bombing of Dresden, or any of the other countless deaths before or after that event...i'm pretty sure Buddha didn't authorize the Holocaust, yet i'm pretty sure he didn't help matters much either...Therefore, that only leads one thing and one thing only left to be blamed...Man. We have deliberately taken the earth and all its resources and inhabitants, including plants, animals, water....ya know, the works, and destroyed much of it trying to find answers to questions we can't even have dreamed of yet, trying to create a "perfect world" for our people, trying most of all to razzle and dazzle other people by how much we can destroy and gain for our own personal use...
You know, i see it this way, its like silverware, haha, yes silverware...We all have a set of silverware, so just about everyone can relate to this. Now let's just say that your silverware (only your silverware exists, don't bring the fact that their are other types of silverware into it because that just makes things more complicated than they already need to be) is the animals in the world, you have your forks, knives, spoons, little forks, and little spoons...who cares, point is their is some diversity their so their are different types of utensils. Now, as in the silverware, the world offers a place where there are different types of animals, but some people believe that every animal is the same, such as people who wouldn't be able to tell the difference between two spoons that are similar...Now when we first get our batch of silverware, or animals, numbers abound so that it doesn't matter how many there are, but at least there's enough not to notice if one or two disappear by chance. However, only when we get down to the point where we are affected by the absence of a fork or a knife do we actually try and find a reason for this occurrence. In the animals case, we never tend to notice the beauty in things in how different each animal is until they become endangered, or better yet...extinct. What is to come of this??? Could we also adopt this way of thinking and carelessness when taking into account human beings...as in different races and what not...Where and when should we choose to stop and think what the hell we are doing ?? (To be continued...)
