Brad from Australia -

What drew you to Survivor, to purchase their music? Or which was the first Survivor song you ever heard?
Brad: Probably a common answer, but hearing Eye of the Tiger during Rocky 3....bought the single with Take you on a Saturday as a b-side, and loved it! On a trip to Singapore in 1986, bought "the Best Collection of" greatest hits package....and then had to find the other albums!

Do you remember "the Year" that you became a fan?
Brad: Well, the greatest hits was bought in 1986, so I'd say I was a true fan from then on.

Do you have all their albums? Which are your favorites?
Brad: I had been without the first two albums until discovering the Survivor website (in the late 90's)....then an extremely generous and kind fan by the name of Flip (from Holland....hopefully he completes this questionaire too!) completed my Survivor collection - after searching in vain for over ten years, the day they arrived was a joyous one!

Where Brad stores his CDsMy favourites.....well, the reason I like Survivor as much as I do is that each of their albums is very strong.....if pushed, I'd say When Seconds Count. From the Dave era, Caught in the Game would be my most played.

If it's not too personal, can I ask your profession or occupation?
Brad: Currently working in a camera store.

Do you have other fans/friends/co-workers in Australia who you can discuss Survivor's music with?
Brad: No....Survivor were truly one-hit wonders here in Oz, so any mention of Survivor and people will know Eye of the Tiger, but absolutely nothing else (hey, that's better than Journey, which will invariably draw blank stares!). That's why the Survivor website and board was such a great find for me....besides meeting some great people, I get to hear about concerts and get albums that I never would have had the chance to otherwise.
