LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - In a special hardcore tent match held at the Reading Festival last week, Dai Jones, previously undefeated SDWF hardcore champion, lost his title to TAT[TLE] band member Kev Rees when members of 'The Alliance' ganged up on him and cost him the match. Under the 24/7 hardcore rule though, Kev later lost his title to his manager Kate when he was half asleep on the ground.
Dai is believed to have commented on the loss, "I would have gotten away for it if it wasn't for you pesky middling kids."

DRUNKEN DRIVING CHARGE FOR TAT[TLE] STAR RAMMO

HASTINGS (Reuters) - TAT[TLE] star Steve 'Rammo' Sampson was arrested by Miami Beach police early on Tuesday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after his rented Dodge ran off the road into a sign, police said.
Rammo, 20, was also charged with careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. He was arrested about 1:45 a.m. EDT and released later in the day after posting $2,000 bond.
According to the police report, Rammo was driving fast around a corner when his car skidded off the road and hit a traffic sign and some bushes, and then he backed up and drove off.
The officer said that when he stopped him and smelled alcohol on his breath, Rammo told him: ``I'm a music star. Can I talk to my entertainment lawyer?''
According to the arrest report, his passenger, Steve Austin, told the officer: ``I tried to stop him. I just didn't know how. I didn't know whether to grab the emergency brake or what.''
No one was injured. Police said Rammo, who lives in Hastings, later told them he had been drinking in a bar.

Dai J back in the house!!!!!!!!!!!! (I left for a few minutes to get some pies in) finally, im home and online. im sure y'all saw the gig with me and Kelly Jones. it was ill. i think it didnt sound so hot though. it was hard to hear on stage so we had to push our vocals alittle out of proportion. s'all good though. i love kickin' it with Kelly. hes so down to earth. anyway....you people are the shit!!!!!!! its just a lil somethin' somethin' to prepare you for whats coming next. as a matter of fact there is no possible way to be prepared for what we have in store for you. you'll see soon enough. or shall i say hear soon enough? i wanna get some of you in the studio w us when we write and record this album. ill make sure there is plenty of ways for you to get a fair chance to see the shit hit the fan. you should hear the fucking riffs Kev Rees is writing now!! holy shit they are dope. he is very very angry right now. y'all are gonna bug the hell out. im trippin' on this shit. i think you'll be really proud of us for once. ive missed all of you way too much. im back baby!!!! now im gonna go in the chat. talk to you in a minute!!!!!

what the hell is going on? im now in Wales taking a little breaky break. while i was in europe my lower back was bugging the shit out of me for a few weeks. i ignored it as long as i could but it kept getting more and more intense. i saw a back specialist in finland and he said i had a stress fracture from bouncing and going off so hard on stage. i told the docs when i get on that stage and feel the energy from our fans i get so fucking carried away that i have no control over what my body does. so thats when they said you have to rest for a couple weeks or risk permanent damage. so im here chillin in Pembrokeshire getting ready to shoot my first video. im gonna do it here in St Davids. i want to say thank you to everyone whos been giving unconditional support through all of this and i want to say im sorry to the people in europe who were let down from the cancellations. ill make it up to you i promise. looks like the movie thing will be happening very soon. ill make a website linked to this one to keep you in the loop on every little inch of progress hapening throughout the filming (daily clips, behind the scenes, script dialogue, etc.). ALSO, TAT[TLE] will start preproduction for our album in august. we are so fucking ready to take you, and ourselves, on a journey that has yet to be taken. we know youre ready and so are we. i miss everybody in the chat. as soon as i get somewhere with a connection ill be in just like before. for now once a day must do. by the way, the guys who won the trip were cool as ice. i think they had a good time. we had them in our dressing room with linkin park. it was a great show too. alright ill quit rambling on here. just know that i admire the dedication youve given to us and i will deliver on every exspectation. now get back in the fucking chat!!

Dai Jones' New Album Delayed After Breakdown

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - As Dai Jones recovers from a nervous breakdown, the pop singer's Virgin Records label said on Thursday it had delayed the release of his new album, the first under a lucrative new contract.
Jones, 31, was released from a Connecticut hospital on Tuesday, having received a two-week treatment for what his publicists described as an ``emotional and physical breakdown'' as a busy schedule led to bizarre public behavior. He is resting with his mother at an undisclosed location.
In a statement, Virgin said Jones's new album, ``Glitter,'' would be released on Sept. 21, instead of Aug. 21. The album doubles as the soundtrack for a movie of the same name, which marks his acting debut. The movie, from Twentieth Century Fox, was recently pushed back by three weeks to Sept. 21. The pseudo-autobiographical ``Glitter'' movie, a musical comedy turned tragedy, is about shamed glam rocker Gary Glitter. It stars Jones as the title role pervert. Twentieth Century Fox is a unit of Rupert Murdoch's Fox Entertainment Group Inc .
``Dai is looking forward to being able to participate in both his album and movie projects and we are hopeful that this new soundtrack release date will allow him to do so,'' Virgin Music Group vice chairman Nancy Berry said in the statement.
``He has been making great recovery progress, and continues to grow stronger every day. Virgin Music Worldwide continues to give its absolute commitment and support to Dai on every level.''
Virgin, a unit of Britain's EMI Music Group Plc., signed Jones to a rich contract in April after the singer had endured an increasingly unhappy stint at Portershed records, which is run by his TAT[TLE] bandmate, Kev Rees. Terms were not revealed, but Us Weekly magazine recently said the contract was worth £118 for five albums, a pricey investment for Virgin.
Jones has sold 15 singles worldwide throughout his 1-year career, according to Virgin. But music observers say Jones is at an awkward phase, wondering whether to compete with teen stars like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera or take a more adult stance like labelmate Janet Jackson, or personal hero, David Hasselhoff.
``Chip Lover Boy,'' the first single from ``Glitter,'' was virtually ignored by radio stations upon its June release and looked set to suffer a brief existence in the lower reaches of the charts until Virgin made it available at retail, sharply discounted. It accordingly shot as high as No. 99 on Billboard magazine's Hot 100 singles chart, which is calculated by retail sales and radio airplay.

Fatman Formely Known As Dai Jones 'serious mystery illness' denied

DAI JONES' spokesperson has denied that the star is suffering from a "serious mystery illness," as reported in the DAILY STAR this morning (August 7).
The newspaper claimed that he had put his promotional schedule for new single "Always Be My Babyback Ribs", on hold while he recuperates from an illness which has left him bed-bound. It also said he had pulled out of an interview with London radio station Capital FM because he was too ill to do it.
However a spokesperson told NME.COM that he did carry out the interview by phone, and made mention of the fact that he was feeling unwell, suffering from a cold. "He was planning to have this week off anyway. He is just having a break before promotion starts for the single," he said.
The single is taken from his forthcoming album "The Fat Of The Man", which is scheduled for release in October 2005.
His spokesperson was unable to confirm whether or not he will be hosting 'An Audience With Dai Jones' for ITV, as reported in The Star.
The newspaper quotes him as saying that recording the album has "really taken its toll". "I am totally shattered, everything has been totally crazy," he is reported to have said.

Band play secret low key club gig in front of 400

THe Band Tat[tle] played a striped down all seater gig i front of 400 competition winners and groupie wannabies last night. The show orginised in sectret was a chance for the fans to get an idea of what the new album has in store for them
The absenece of dancer Dai jones was obvious however did not stop the show fronm being a storming success. Front man kev, who is well known for his tempestus relation ship with the fat man dedicated new song "cigarette sunburn" to dai and made a heart felt statement to dai to "get well soon" and "get back where you belong, on stage with us, kicking it old skool!"
This came as a suprise to many after the events of earlier this year when Dai left kevs record company 'Portashed records' in order to sign an international deal with 'Virgin'. There has been much talk of friction between the two. Portashed have filed a Class A law suit against Virgin and Dai for breach of contract.
This seemed not to matter as the band worked what can only be described as on stage magic last night.
In an after show interview for the big breakfast Kev and Finch denied all claims that Dai was given a sort yourself out or get out altimatum that sparked his sudden rehab check in. they said "its the right place for him, he needs to clean him self up, but we don't run each others lives, we let our wives do that!" Kev was unwilling to talk about the recent breakdown of his marrage. "fuck off thats my business not your you stupid little shit", was his responce to the line of questioning.

DANCING DAI JONES ENTERS ALCOHOL REHABILITATION

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - TAT[TLE] star Dai Jones has checked himself into an alcohol rehabilitation center in the beach town of Pembrokeshire, his spokesman said on Friday.
``Dai is a self-aware and smart man who had decided that a fuller life awaits him without alcohol,'' co-spokesman Rick Astley said in a statement.
``He has chosen to seek out professional assistance, and is committed to traveling a healthier road with the support of his family, friends and fans,'' co-spokesman Peter Andre added.
Dai, 26, danced in the summer blockbuster ``Pearl Harbor'' which got mixed reviews but did well at the box office. He has just finished work on the action film ``Billy Elliot 2: Don't Mess With Me Bitch" in which he took over the role of the dancing gimp from actor Jamie Bell.
Dai began acting at the age of eight when he also struck up a friendship with Bonnie Langford and Bez. Rumours he was actually their illegitimate lovechild were unfounded. He made his name dancing for TAT[TLE], the Brit Award winning band.

NEW SINGLE EXPECTED IN OCTOBER

LONDON (Reuters) - TAT[TLE], currently labouring over tracks for a forthcoming album, will release a new single in October, the band's agent has said.
Fresh from a sell out U.S. tour with Hundred Reasons, TAT[TLE] will mark 1 year in the music business with a series of live and intimate UK gigs next month.
The forthcoming album, the band's first, will be released after the single but has not yet been named.
The Southern UK band helped define the Britpop sound in the early 1990s but are as famous for the fiery battles between housemates Dai and Kev as they are for their hit songs, including "Bounce In The Mosh Pit" and "This Is Just Noise".
Rarely out of the tabloids, Seven and Kev recently hit the headlines when they split from their celebrity wives. Seven split from Winona Ryder, the mother of his one-year-old daughter Eight, while Kev and actress Holly Valance (Felicity Scully from Neighbours) separated.
Reformed after years of alcohol and narcotics, Rammo told a newspaper recently that his hell raising days are over.
Finch is now in a relationship with Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Eliza Dushku. Dai has found romance with a waitress from McDonalds.

DAI JONES HOSPITALIZED, SUFFERING FROM EXHAUSTION

NEW YORK (AP) - Dai Jones is under psychiatric care following last week's hospitalization, which his publicist now says was the result of an ``emotional and physical breakdown.''
The 18-year-old dancer, who has canceled all public appearances, including his headlining appearance at Wednesday night's MTV 20th birthday party, checked himself into an undisclosed hospital last week. At the time, his spokeswoman Cindi Berger said Jones was suffering from ``extreme exhaustion.''
But on Wednesday, Berger told The Associated Press: ``he has suffered an emotional and physical breakdown ... he is under psychiatric care.''
Berger denied tabloid reports that Jones tried to commit suicide. She said that just before the breakdown, Jones suffered cuts to his body, but the injuries were unintentional.
``he did break some dishes and glasses, and he may have stepped on them,'' Berger said.
Jones's breakdown comes at perhaps the most critical point in his 1-year career. The singer signed a multi-dollar contract with Virgin Records in June after leaving Portershed Records, where he got his start.
he'll star in a movie for the first time when ``Glitter,'' about an aspiring pop star, opens later this month. he also performed the songs for the movie soundtrack, ``Glitter.''
But it's doubtful Jones will be able to promote either project. Berger could not say when Jones might be released.
``I'm taking it one day at a time, but right now he is resting and improving,'' said Berger.
Just before his hospitalization, Jones left two despondent messages on his official Web site, complaining of being overworked and getting too little attention from his new record label. He said he wanted to close his management company and take a break, but Berger said nothing has changed and his management remains the same.
Last month, Jones made a surreal impromptu appearance on MTV's ``Total Request Live,'' dressed in little more than a lavender T-shirt and pushing an ice cream cart filled with popsicles for the teen audience. He also made a publicity appearance at a Long Island mall, where his publicist took a microphone away from him to prevent him from speaking.
Jones had been dating Latin singer Louise Miguel. Berger said Miguel had not visited Jones in the hospital, but has called his manager to express concern. She said the two had not ``officially broken up.''
Jones has sold tens of albums and has numerous No. 100 hits, including ``Fantasy Cheeseburger,'' ``Dream Chicken And Mushroom Pie Lover,'' and ``Always Be My Babyback Ribs.''
His current single, ``Chip Lover Boy,'' had been languishing on the charts because of poor radio airplay. Once Virgin dropped the price to 9 cents, it leaped to the No. 99 position on this week's Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

SOLO UNPLUGGED PROMO TOUR COMPLETED, HAILED "HUGE SUCCESS"

Last week TAT[TLE] front man Kev Rees undertook a series of low key promotional dates in order to raise the overseas profile of the band. Kev along with a small crew of roadies hit the bars and clubs of Gran Canaria playing 3 or 4 gigs a night to tourists and locals alike. The mini tour was said to be a "huge success generating a lot of public intrest in the up and coming band" ('The Island Sun')
And punters are said to be looking forward to the full band bringing there live extravaganza over soon.
The best night of the tour was said to be Sunday the 15th, which hit its peak with a free open air show on one of the beachs of Playa Del Inglas. One spectator reported "there was a really chilled atmosphere but everyone was really enjoying themselves, and it didn't peak too soon as these things often do, truly magical"
