Nevaem

You grab your coat and head after the little guy. Waving to the Innkeeper you burst out the door and hop on your dark brown runner-beast. The black firedrace is playfully hovering in and out of trees waiting for you to catch him. You follow him for almost an hour when you come onto a large house. There are eggthings pecking all over the yard. A castle looms in the distance. Chronos zooms into one of the windows. You dismount and walk up to the door. Just before you knock the door flys open and a boy is standing there looking back at you. He looks to be about 15 Reelays and has brown and blond hair. He wears a cape and tattered old clothes.

"Hello." He says puzzled. "May I, uh, help you?" The black firedrace is sitting on his shoulder, tittering something.

"Oh I see." The boy laughs. "Chronos is always bringing visitors. He thinks Latids needs more friends."

"Latids?" You ask.

"Oh!" he exclaims, "Perhaps I should introduce you to him. I'm warning you though, he's a little large.

"Would you like to come in?"

You step into his house and look around. There are two firedraces in the kitchen playing some kind of tag. They see you and fly over curiously. One is diamond and the other is white. "That's Ismene and Odipus." He points to them.

"Oh and i am N'vaem. Named after the God of War!" He growls and laughs. "I am a Apprentice healer."

You nod and smile. The boy seems to talk alot. He leads you through a doorway and you are startled. A blue dragon is sleeping by a fire, humming softly.

"This is Latids." He says with much pride. Hearing the boy's voice, the dragon twitches and awakes, streching to it's full height.

Hello A voice fills your mind. Don't be frieghtened. The dragon's eye focuses on you and swirls with colors.

"Hello Latids" You say, calmed by the gentle voice of the large creature. Hello, The firelizards zoom around the dragon's head and N'vaum smiles and nods.

"Oh look at the time!" He yells. "I've got to be going I have an appointment. You may look at Latids scrapbook on the table. I hope you enjoyed your stay!" And with that the boy was gone.
