The Tomahawks: band |
Pics Are UP!!
SAM
Sam plays the bass, and likes long walks on mainstreet underneath the stars. So I jumped ship in Hong Kong, and make way over to Tibet, and I got on as a looper over there at a course in the Himalayas…. Oh wait a second….wrong thing. Anyway, listen. The battery acid business is no business for anyone. Once you get into it you are hooked for life. I spent so many nights in a small triangular room with six walls, eight doors, three golf flags and all the salami you can eat. You don’t get to talk to anyone except bottle caps. And in this business, everyone’s either got a midget or donkey or both so you’ve got to watch your back all the time. So I’m always a little nervous now. I guess the low point in my career came when my good friend and mentor, Mr. Aeral died. He showed me everything I know about the battery acid business. But one day when I was working the XP800 Sawdustmaker, Soups came up to me and said: Soups: So what’s a dazzling urbanite like you doing in a rustic setting like this? Nevermind that, how you doin’ kid? Me: It just feels so weird. Soups: You mean that Mr. Aeral’s dead? Me: Yeah, that and my pants are filled with starfish. Soups: You and your hobbies. Come on, let me take you to lunch. So he took me to lunch at a quaint little Chinese place where I had the best fortune cookie in my life. Did you know they make them in Texas and they don’t even have them in China because they were invented in San Francisco? So now I got the band. We’ve only been in one fight when Chris’s arm kept cramping and I kicked them both in the ol’ gulliver. I love these guys but I’m really the brains of the operation. Of course this really isn’t a brains type of operation. Well moving on, now days most of my time is spent devoted to my hobby of listening to the inside of my hairdryer because it sounds like the ocean. I like the ocean because I am a pirate. CHRIS
Chris plays drums and cymbals..he likes to fight karate style |
SETH
Seth plays the guitar and sings...he likes miso, an italian dish. Let me see here...yeah...ok, so yeah, i was gonna be in this boyband called 4U, but luckily soups and sam saved me from that! Yeah, so from then on i hung out with them and my pet beaver: herbert. I perfected my guitar skills from this point on til they were so fresh and yet so clean. But everything wasn't well...you see I had a few run-ins with things, i got tied up for a while with exporting and importing to great britain. But i decided to switch countries after that to a larger more elegant place: europe. After a while, that sort of left me bankrupt, so i decided to go full time with the tomahawks...ever since then, it's been rad. The exporting/importing business was not for me, but i'm sure i'll be going back to it soon. OK OK OK: the REAL story: sam, chris and I played together in the band for a long time but things wouldn't work out...but after some more practicin' and 'tightness' we're now the super group we are today. yeah..that's the story..more or less. |
