Aisle Seven...
The Magic and beautiful noise of Aisle Seven started in the winter of 2002. Justin Keene and Brian Mullis met through school, in Sports Science and Weight Training class. It took off from there, the two future band mates began jamming by themselves in Brian's basement. They started writing songs with two guitar parts and lyrics, but something was missing from the equation, a drummer. Keene made the discovery of a lifetime, realizing that close friend Shaun Kauffman was an excellent drummer waiting to be harvested. The trio had some trials and tribulations through finding a bass player for the band, many came and go, but only one left the impression of a lifetime, unfortunately he decided his solo project was more important to him, but it is hoped that he may someday return to the band. So it remains, the trio of Brian Mullis, Justin Keene, and Shaun Kauffman, Aisle Seven.
The songs of Aisle Seven are a combination of the catchy pop emo guitar riffs of Justin Keene, layered with the soulful lead guitar melodies of Brian Mullis, thrown into the mix with the aggressively emotional drum lines of Shaun Kauffman, topped off with the heart broken lyrics of the band's trials and tribulations in the game of love, sung by Justin and Brian, a combination no ear could let pass by.
