Below:  The Aspen fire, when it was just over 35,000 acres and more than 300 structures burned.  It has since grown to almost 80,000 acres and has burned almost 400 structures.  This is an area 5 times the size of the island of Bermuda (Where my parents now reside.)  They find it hard to believe, as do I.

Mt. Lemmon will never be the same.

(2) Above:  The fire line could be seen from Oracle Road in Oro Valley.  It was an eerie sight at night.
