Long Way Home

Music will never be the same...

We have a new website. Check it out:

Long Way Home

We are hoping to make some noise around Flint. If you would like to send a comment e-mail us at the address below.

Keep checking the website for new show dates and more info on our band.

LWH will be selling T-shirts sometime in the future, but we need to get some funds together. If you are interested in buying one, please contact one of the band memebers, or send us an e-mail. We're not sure on the price yet, but it will be posted as soon as possible.

While you are here, please sign our guestbook at the bottom of the page.

The Band

Nick Armstrong

Nick started playing bass because Cody asked him to help him start a band, thankfully not this one because we were horrible back then. He is influenced by Flea and Cliff Burton. Nick's favorite bands are Metallica, Incubus, Audio Vent, and Soundgarden.

Brian Chambers

Brian is our drummer. Brian is the comic relief for the band. He is always a welcome presence in "the Jam Room." Brian is one of the easiest musicians to get along with, and everyone agrees he is an essential part of the band.

Dane Crystal

Dane, or Pooder as we call him, is the main writer and vocalist for the band. He is inspired most by the early rock 'n' roll bands, and the his own ficitonal Free Lander's Brothers Funk.

Cody Perkins

Cody was influenced by his older brother to start playing. His favorite guitarists are Mark Farner, David Gilmour, Rich Robinson, Angus Young, Adam Jones, and Peter Frampton. Cody's favorite bands are A Perfect Circle, Grand Funk Railroad, The Black Crowes, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, and Tool. Yeah, there's a lot, but who cares.

Empty Bowls XII

Long Way home has been asked to play the 12th annual Empty Bowls charity benefit. The show will be the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 12. Come join us for the 12th on the 12th!

Come See Us

If you would like to come sit in on a practice, give us a call and we'll fill you in on the details. It would be nice to have someone to perform for considering our shows are few and far between at the moment. We could always use the support and the criticism.

The Gallery

Here they are, the crappiest pictures we could find. Enjoy.
