Hey
Well I guess I'll be writin the occasional feature on this here thing we like to call our webpage. I guess the main point of this page is to prove to you that the rest of the band is not as nuts as Mike. Hopefully this is where the level story of the band we'll come out.
guess those of you who haven't heard of us might want a slight back history to the band. Well esteem33 started a long time ago or last year when I got the boot from my old band which had to many names to bother mentioning and Rosey (Jesse) got booted from his band for reasons that may one day be released so we got together to Jam with a good friend to jam and formed esteem33 then and there. Shortly after our friend left us on drums cuz he wanted to pursue a career in the rap game. So no prob me and Rose carried on as a two piece. Things were great until my dad died which completely messed me up. This is an interesting little fact the first ever appearance of esteem33 as it was then, me and Rosey, was at my Dads funeral where we played "Lost" the first song my dad liked and the only song I actually sing. Anyways we got a lot of history here so lets move on. After my Dad died we took time off from being a band and then got back together and began to finish off songs we had partially written before. Shortly there after a teacher at Roseys high school gave us a chance to record on his newly purchased 8 track digital recording. These recordings are all on the MP3.com website they include "Back up", "Sometimes", "Gone", and "Lost" the original run of the CD also included a song called "found" in which I also sang on but I hated it so if your gonna try and find it you better be a hardcore fan. The whole thing was recorded with me and rosey live with someone named Dave Larious on drums remember those names kids.. Movin on I made friends with Ben of the Ben Thompson Band, actually Ben sold me my very first guitar, but Ben became like my musical big brother and really looked up to him, and hey they may be competely different from us but CHECK THEM OUT THEY ARE AMAZING check the links section. Shit I'm way off track me and my side stories...
So yeah the band remained me and Rose for the longest time we played out a couple times and got offered a few gigs funniest thing was the mini showed we played out in consecon us one metallica cover band and a couple of folk singers hahahaha. Eventually we decided it was time to take things farther originally we asked Mike (Critch) if he would do our website but we decided to give him a chance on guitar. Then we decided we needed a drummer and we had a choice either our buddy who started the band or Dave Larious we chose Larious ....cough cough mistake cough cough (read on)..... and we did want a bass player so we offered the position to Steve Buell who I had been teaching bass to anyways.
So now we have a full line up and instantly we crank out a bunch of good tunes but the real stand out tune was Everybody so we decided that we should record it professionally... yadayadayadayadayadayada
