Martin was a Punk Rocker ******** Martin was a Punk Rocker: Dating. Danny was Dating. Danny wasn't just Dating anyone. Danny was Dating Martin. Martin Fitzgerald. Martin Fitzgerald son of Victor Fitzgerald. Martin Fitzgerald son of Victor Fitzgerald the man that could send him packing to the nether regions of the greater US in a split second. This had bad idea written all over it. Not just because of who he was Dating but because he was Dating in general. Danny and Dating did not do very well. It wasn't that Danny wasn't a good boyfriend. He hadn't heard any complaints in that department of his life. Most people he went out with were fairly happy to go out with him. They all said he was a good listener and that he was funny and great to be with, but none of those relationships lasted very long. It seemed that Danny had some kind of weird curse on him that he just couldn't figure out. He couldn't keep anyone around for longer than a few weeks and he wasn't sure why. If he really paid attention to people and listened to them and was funny and all sorts of other good things why didn't anything ever last. He could blame it on his job, but it wasn't like he was Jack or even Martin for that matter. He didn't spend his every waking moment focused on his job. He wasn't the job. He rarely let the job come home with him. No, it wasn't his job that made him lousy at relationships. Maybe it was the no drinking thing. He'd been to parties with the girlfriend or boyfriend for that matter, of the week and would decline a drink. He saw the looks. He knew he was too young to be swearing off drinks, but those other people hadn't been teenage alcoholics like himself. He'd never really felt comfortable enough with anyone to tell them he had been an alcoholic and he never got to get to that point in his relationships because they never lasted long enough for him to feel comfortable. So he was left having to fend off various drinks and weary looks. Like he couldn't be fun without having to get drunk. Danny's being void of a girlfriend or boyfriend was a mystery to him. He couldn't understand why someone like himself, handsome, funny, smart with a list of other good qualities wouldn't have a steady long term relationship. So it made him turned off by the total idea of relationships or dating. This made his Dating Martin Fitzgerald thing a whole new mystery. Perhaps Danny could chalk it up to the fact that he'd had a near death experience and Martin had been right there with him. Sure he'd always had a little bit of a crush on Martin. Who wouldn't? Martin was... well he was special and there had just been something about him that drew Danny in something entirely Martin. So when they had both been shot and injured after the Adisa case and laid up in the same hospital room in different beds Danny had taken that time to edge himself further under Martin's skin. Martin had laughed at all his corny humor and had listened to him talk about all the things he wanted to do before he died. He understood where Danny was coming from. Martin had talked too. Had revealed more about himself then Danny had ever known to begin with and slowly Danny's crush grew. Grew so large Danny wasn't entirely sure what to do with himself afterwards when they had gone back to their lives. Martin had made it easy coming over with food and movies always ready to listen to Danny talk about his therapy and such. It was so easy to talk to Martin. Much easier than it had been talking to other people and Danny knew that they had somewhat of a relationship before the whole almost dead mess, but this just made it seem more solid, more real. Still didn't mean that he wasn't shocked when Martin, easily flustered and ever blushing Martin, had asked him on a real date. He hadn't even really asked. It had been more like told. Danny had had a few months or so what with the being confined to the hospital and the time after that to get used to the Martin that didn't show up to work every day. The one that was more confident and more easy going. Danny liked that Martin, but he was still shocked when Martin had told him that he had made dinner reservations at some fancy restaurant Danny had never heard of before and he expected Danny to come with him. Danny would have protested if it hadn't been something he had always wanted. Now Danny was Dating Martin and it had been the best thing Danny had ever experienced in his life. They fit so perfectly and Danny was just waiting for it to fall apart. Because good things never came easy for Danny Taylor and Danny had gotten used to that. Had gotten used to being let down and had gotten used to having his stupid entitlement issues that were really just there to mask the fact that he wanted attention. Danny liked to be the life of the party. He liked to be the center of attention. He liked it when people were watching him listening intently to what he had to say. He guessed it had something to do with his need for attention considering that when he was a kid not many people paid attention to him. So he was making up for that as an adult. He did whatever it took to get people's attention though most of the time eyes were on him without having to do much. Yeah he knew he was a good looking man. It wasn't that he was vain or arrogant or pompous. He just knew he was easy on the eyes. Martin liked to stare at him when he talked particularly his lips. Danny would have been put off by it if he didn't know for a fact that Martin was listening and he knew Martin was listening because he'd make those noise and often stop Danny in the middle of an explanation to see if he had all the details right or ask a question that would make Danny think a little more about what he was saying. Martin was always listening though. Offered helpful suggestions and sometimes called Danny on his childish behavior if he didn't agree with everything Danny was saying. Listening was an important part of a relationship... or so Danny had been told. He listened to everything Martin said intently to the point where he was almost not listening. He wanted to know everything about Martin just in case this thing with Martin did come to a halt. He wanted to know everything about Martin and if he had to speed up the process because he was scared then Martin would just have to live with that. And that was why Danny was snooping around his boyfriend of three months apartment looking for clues to Martin's childhood in a pair of boxers and an undershirt at two in the morning when he should be sleeping soundly with Martin. He knew things about Martin. Knew his favorite foods and colors and bands and books and things like that, but Martin rarely talked about anything that had to do with when he was a kid and Danny wanted to know. He wanted to know because it was a part of Martin. It was a part of who he was and Danny wanted to know more about that part. He found pictures, not many, but a few. Enough to piece together that Martin's family never really thought to take pictures of him. Most pictures of Martin's childhood were a packaged deal with his sisters involved or some other kind of family member. Most were taken with Martin's cousins and Danny guessed that was because Martin had spent so much time with his aunt and her husband. Still Danny thought Martin looked really cute as a kid. Danny moved on from the pictures of cute adorable kid Martin to the better Martin as a teenager pictures. It seemed that Martin had gone through a lot of phases in his life. There were pictures of him as the more jockey type with a letterman jacket and everything then there were pictures of him more preppy with an IZOD T-shirt, Chino pants and brown garish loafers. He even had a nerdy look with the Star Trek T-shirt and Spock ears. The picture that caught Danny's attention was the one with Martin, Martin Fitzgerald his boyfriend of three months, dressed up like a punk rocker flashing the rock on sign with one hand and what looked suspiciously like a beer in the other. He was with two other guys one with blonde hair long and curly like he was a glam rocker trying to look like Dee Snider and the other with a mohawk that was dyed and assortment of colors. Martin, though he hadn't do anything to extreme with his hair, had a spiky do and if Danny looked close enough it seemed the tips were dyed red. He was wearing a black Ramones T-shirt and what looked like black leather pants with a leather studded belt. Danny couldn't see his feet, but he'd bet even money that Martin was wearing Doc Martin boots. He even looked like he was wearing eyeliner, but it was pretty smudged looking. He was skinny looking and pretty pale that he passed off the part well. "It was an act of rebellion." Danny jumped a bit at the sound of Martin's voice. He looked over at Martin to see him standing there with the comforter from Martin's bed thrown over his shoulders in a white shirt and striped boxers. "Rebellion, huh? You didn't like it at all." Danny asked. "The music was pretty cool. And the guys... they were better than most friends. Pretty loyal. Better than most of the friends I made in high school. The clothes were pretty restrictive though. And the make-up... I saw guys who liked to get all glammed out, but I could barely put the eyeliner on." Martin said walking around the couch so he could sit on it next to Danny. "Bet your dad had a coronary when you came in looking like that." Danny said. "Oh he was pretty pissed. At first he thought I was one of my sister's attempts to rebel, but then he realized it was me... this was after one of my friends girlfriends completely did me over. Tons of make-up and tight clothes. He nearly had a heart attack. Anyway... he learned to just ignore me after a little while." "And you stopped playing dress up because it wasn't getting daddy's attention." Danny said. Martin pouted a bit at this statement and edged a little closer to Danny. He laid his head down on Danny's shoulder and sighed. "I stopped dressing like that because it wasn't me. I was playing dress up, but it wasn't to get my dad's attention. Push a few buttons maybe, but I didn't even really want his attention. But it had nothing to do with me dressing like that. I did it because I found some friends that liked to dress up like that. They were okay when I put away the leather pants and eyeliner." Martin said. "Somewhat of an eye opener though. I mean I never pictured you as the punk rocker type." Danny said. "Well the music is pretty good. Kind of grows on you after awhile." "I guess... punk's not really my thing." Danny said with a smile on his face. "You know I've never actually heard you listen to music." Martin said. "I listen to music... sometimes. I never really... when I was a kid I never really... you know had time to listen to music. So I never really had time to dress a certain way because of music." Danny said. "Hmmm and you say I have parent issues." Martin muttered. Danny heard him and scowled in his direction. "I know I'm screwed up thank you very much for pointing it out." Danny grumbled. "Oh, but that's okay. I happen to like your issues." Martin said with a smile. Danny couldn't help but smile back and he leaned down and kissed Martin lightly on the lips. When he pulled away Martin was making a face. "Speaking of rebellious acts, when are you going to shave this?" Martin asked tugging at the hair on Danny's face. Danny had thought the beard had made him look handsome and older. He had been growing it ever since he got out of the hospital. There hadn't been much time for shaving then and the beard had grown on it's own accord. Danny was really too lazy to shave it off the first few weeks, but then he decided he actually liked the beard. Like the way it covered that small scar on his cheek from the glass that had been shattered when those guys shot the car. "What you don't like it?" Danny said pouting a bit. Martin rolled his eyes. "It's... well I like the way it looks on you, but it's really itchy. Leaves read marks on my face." Martin said and Martin was much better at the pout then Danny gave him credit for. "But it's... I like it. And with my glasses, I look so... mature." Danny said pouting as well. Two could play the pouting game. "I guess... I just... when I kiss you it tickles or it itches and that doesn't really put me in the mood." Martin said and he must have caught on to Danny's pouting game because he was pouting and not only was he pouting his fingers were tracing soft lines on Danny's arm. If Martin started kissing his neck Danny knew he was going to loose and do whatever Martin wanted him to do. He'd even shave his head if it made Martin happy. "So what made you go on this little treasure hunt. You could have just asked you know. You didn't have to sneak out of bed at two-thirty in the morning." Martin said. "Well... I was just thinking how you always tell me things about you know, but I don't know much about your childhood. You already know so much about mine." "So you decided that, instead of asking me, you'd go snooping around. What if you had found out that I was married with two kids?" Martin asked. "Martin, I'm a trained detective. I could tell if you were married with two kids." "But you couldn't tell that I liked punk rock music?" Danny rolled his eyes at him. "I just wanted to find out some stuff about you. Is that a crime?" "No, but you could have just asked. I would have told you anything you wanted to know." Martin said. Danny lowered his head and muttered something. "What was that I didn't hear you?" Martin said. "I said I wasn't sure you would tell me." "Why?" "Well... I'm not sure how this works here, Fitzie." "How what works?" "This relationship thing is all so new to me. I don't know where I'm allowed... I mean we were friends before we were together and you were easy to talk to back then." "It's the same now Danny." "I know... it's just I've never been good at the relationship thing. I've had plenty, but they never seem to work out. I want things you work out with you, Martin. They have to because I think this is the real deal here." "And what makes you think it's not going to work out." "My luck at these things is less than stellar." "You think my luck is any better. Spent almost a year in a relationship with a girl that never even really liked me all that much." "Sam liked you Martin. She was just so in love with Jack that it was all she could see. I told you that it would only end in trouble." Danny said with a smile. "Yes, yes I'm an idiot. I thought we moved passed that already." Martin grumbled. "Hmmm, nope I think I'll keep that around for a bit. You know bring it out just to get to you." "That would be evil of you." Martin said and he was back to pouting and arm tracing and he even left one small little kiss on Danny's neck just to be mean. Danny groaned and closed his eyes. "Guess I'm just being insecure." "Wow, the all powerful Danny Taylor, man who can get anyone to swoon over him is insecure over me. You're going to give me an ego here Danny." "I'm not that person around you." Danny said. Martin gave him a questioning look. "Okay so I flirt, but I flirt with everyone. It's not about me wanting to get into their pants. It's about me wanting attention. I like attention. Besides the only pants I want to get into our yours." Danny said with a smirk. "Damn right." Martin said. Danny leaned in for another kiss this one a little deeper then the previous one and a lot more intense. Danny pulled away again, but just a little bit. "Speaking of pants. I really like you in these leather ones right here." Danny said pointing to the teenage Martin in the picture. "Any chance those or some like it, will be making an appearance soon." "Hmm... it's been awhile. And I wouldn't just put them on for any old reason." Martin said. "You're going to make me beg for them aren't you." "Oh you don't have to beg. Maybe promise something." Martin said his fingers twirling in Danny's beard. Danny groaned. "Okay. I promise to get rid of the beard and the glasses if you'll..." "You don't have to get rid of your glasses." Martin said trying to sound casual, but it came out sounding worried. Danny smirked. "Oh so you like the glasses just not the beard. Alright, I'll shave if you wear the pants just once." Danny said. Martin looked at him and then tilted his head. He looked as though he were thinking. He waited a few minutes and Danny was starting to get worried that Martin would want more than for him to just shave his beard. "Alright, you have a deal... why don't you go wait for me in the bedroom." Martin whispered in that low sultry voice Danny didn't know he was capable of until after they started dating. All Danny could do was nod and obey. Martin scurried off somewhere as Danny walked over to the bedroom. He laid down on the bed slightly propped up by a few pillows and waited for Martin to come in wearing leather pants. It took a few minutes before Martin came sauntering, Danny didn't even know Martin could saunter his hips swaying slightly, to the doorway of the bedroom. He leaned against the doorframe and Danny got a good look at him. His hair was spiked in odd angles and he wasn't wearing a shirt. Danny had a few seconds to admire Martin's nice arm muscles before his eyes went to the pants. Tight shiny leather pants that looked like they could be painted on like second skin. "I'm surprised they still fit." Martin said with a grin. "They look... shit... they look really good." Danny said. "I can see that." Martin said tilting his head a bit as he gestured to Danny's crotch. "If I'd have known how you'd react like this to me putting on some old leather pants I would have done it ages ago." Martin said as he sauntered, and Danny was still in shock that he could actually saunter, over to Danny. He had that seductive look on his face the one that made Danny shiver with anticipation. Danny watched as Martin unbuttoned his leather pants slowly making a show of it and part of Danny wanted to protest about the shortness of time Martin had the pants on. Wanted to scream at him to keep them on for just a little while longer, but he really couldn't get himself to do it. Not when Martin was so wantonly stripping out of them spending time on each button lightly touching them a little longer than necessary was though he were caressing them and Danny wanted Martin to caress him like that. And when Martin slowly shimmied out of the leather pants Danny felt another jolt run through his body because here was Martin, fashion challenged Martin who was always so reserved, giving Danny a little sexy strip show. Who knew Martin could be so... sexual. Certainly not Danny. "Wanna know something?" Martin whispered into Danny's ear as he draped himself on top of Danny settling between his open legs. "Sure." Danny said in a breathy tone. "I love you." Martin whispered. "You don't have to tell me you love me to get me into bed, Martin, I'm kind of already here." Danny said jokingly. "I'm serious Danny." Martin said pulling away. Danny looked up to see that Martin was very serious. "Really?" Danny said and he could hit himself for sounding so insecure. He had never felt like that with anyone else. Danny knew he sometimes came off as an over confident person, some would even go as far and say that Danny was vain or arrogant, but he really wasn't that person with Martin. He felt like he could be vulnerable around Martin and it would be okay, but some little tiny part of him hated that because Danny never really liked to be vulnerable in front of anyone. Martin rolled his eyes and leaned down to kiss Danny. "What's not to love? You're gorgeous for one..." "Well, if you just love me for my looks." "And you're smart." Martin said talking over Danny like he hadn't even heard him. "I mean you could have been a lawyer. I've seen some of the books and laws that lawyers have to memorize. You're funny, even though sometimes I tell you that you aren't. You're passionate about a lot of things. I like that, considering I know I can sometimes be a bit... passionless. I could go on, but I think I've covered the basics. You're just... you're Danny and that's what I love about you." Martin said softly. "You love me for me?" Danny said and it still seemed like he couldn't believe what he was hearing. "You love me even though I've got issues and scars and an ugly past." "Are those things a part of you?" "Yeah..." "Well, then yeah I love them. I love you." "Martin..." "Shh, Danny." Martin said leaning down. He began to kiss Danny's neck light kisses making a trail down to Danny's collarbones. Martin's fingers idly played with the hem of Danny's white shirt. Martin slowly pulled Danny's shirt off of him. Danny couldn't help but moan a little as Martin peeled off his shirt knowing what was to come. He could feel Martin's fingers lightly caressing his sides as Martin's lips and tongue played with his nipples. Danny couldn't deal with Martin's foreplay right now though. Right now... right at that moment he needed Martin more than he needed anything else in the world. Danny pulled Martin's head up and captured Martin's lips with his own. "Martin." Danny whispered against Martin's lips his fingers idly carding through Martin's hair. "Shh." Martin said as he slowly pulled off Danny's boxers. He felt Martin's fingers lightly stroke his cock, but even the small stimulation was too much for his over-sensitized body. "Martin." Danny said his hand reaching down to stop Martin's. Danny looked up to see that Martin was slightly confused as to why Danny was stopping him. "Please... please I just... I just need you." Danny whispered hoping that Martin was able to hear him. Danny guessed he had when he felt Martin shift a bit and reach over to the nightstand hands roaming for lube and condoms. Martin squirted some lube on his fingers and Danny watched with heavy lidded eyes as Martin's fingers went down and then Danny could feel them inside him moving slowly but steady and Danny wasn't sure he could take it. "Martin... Martin, please, just, Martin... please." Danny knew he was babbling a bit, but he couldn't help himself. Couldn't help the feeling of rightness he felt whenever Martin touched him or looked at him or was just near him. "Shh... I'm right here. It's okay." Danny looked up to see Martin's face hovering above him. "Just... please..." "Okay, shh, it's okay." Martin said noting that Danny had a desperate look on his face. A look he'd never seen before. He quickly opened the condom packet and rolled it over his hard cock biting his lip a bit as he took his lube soaked fingers and spread some on his cock. Danny opened his legs a bit more and Martin easily slid between them his cock positioned at Danny's entrance and Danny could feel Martin staring at him in wide eyed wonder, but his own eyes were closed shut. He heard it first, Martin's strangled moan as he pushed inside. Martin was trying to go slow, but Danny didn't want slow, he just wanted Martin deep inside him. He wrapped his legs around Martin's waist pushing Martin in all the way in one deep thrust and he heard Martin's choked groan and Danny answered with a hiss of breath. Danny was panting his eyes still tightly shut teeth clenched. After a minute or so, which felt like a lifetime to Danny he heard Martin's raspy voice. "Open your eyes, Danny." It was hard for Danny to obey in his over stimulated state, but he managed to open them a bit. "I love you." Martin repeated and then he was thrusting. Slow even thrusts and Martin pulled all the way out before slamming in again whispering I love you to Danny each time he pounded inside Danny. Danny wasn't sure what to do. He could hear Martin's voice close to his ear whispering I love you over and over again and all he could do was moan softly and push back into Martin's thrusts. It was like he had lost his voice. Like he had lost the ability to do anything, but feel the wave of sensations floating through his body and give into it. Give into Martin and Danny knew that somewhere along the line he had already resigned himself to the fact that he would always give into Martin. Just for this moment. Just for Martin whispering words like love into his ear as he pounded into him. Just to be draped in Martin and have Martin near him forever. And part of that scared Danny. Part of the whole giving in and being vulnerable thing had just smacked him in the face too many times for Danny's liking. How was he to know that this time it would be any different? He looked up at Martin's face flushed and sweaty his eyes wide open, but unseeing and he didn't think Martin knew he was saying I love you like he was trying to prove something. Still how could Danny truly be sure that this whole thing wouldn't back fire on him? "I love you too." Danny whispered back and his only indication that Martin had heard him was Martin's groan and the increase in his thrusts. Martin seemed to be frantic now his hips angling to hit different spots inside Danny and when one particularly hard thrust hit Danny's prostate Danny couldn't help it if he screamed a bit. Just like he couldn't help the moans escaping from his lips or Martin's moans or the way he moved against Martin or the way Martin moved against him or Martin's hand stroking his cock in time with their movements. Just like Danny couldn't help it when he came, spurts of milky white cum jetting out of his cock coating his stomach and Martin's hand. Just like he couldn't help as Martin thrust a few more times before moaning his last I love you and coming just as hard as Danny had. Not that he even really wanted to stop those actions. It took several minutes before their breathing returned to normal and Martin rolled off of Danny and on to his side of the bed. Danny was still panting slightly when Martin rolled back over and rested his head on Danny's chest after disposing of the condom. "Gonna have to wear those pants more often." Martin whispered chuckling lightly. "Yeah, definitely kick-starts things." Danny said in a content voice as his arm came to wrap around Martin's waist. Martin looked up at Danny eyes still a little glazed and those blue eyes always seemed to be so expressive. "I love you." Martin said again and Danny wasn't sure he could ever get enough of him saying those words. And at that moment it didn't really matter that Danny was vulnerable in front of Martin. It didn't matter that he wasn't any good at Dating. It didn't even matter that he didn't know if this would work out because he was lying in bed with Martin and that had been his dream for a long time now. It didn't matter that everything else hadn't worked out. This was Martin. It had to work out. "I love you too." ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ "And just when I was starting to think it wasn't that creepy, you go and shave it off. Seriously Danny I actually thought you looked distinguished with it." Sam commented as she took a sip of her coffee. Danny merely smiled at her. He thought it would be weird around Sam. She hadn't taken that long to figure out that he and Martin were Dating and had actually welcomed it. Could've had something to do with the fact that she and Jack were doing that Dating thing. Still she and Martin had done that Dating thing and it hadn't worked out and from the way Martin tells it he dumped her. She didn't seem the least bit shaken up about it though. "Yeah, I thought you said it made you look mature." Viv said. They were sitting around the conference table waiting for Jack to pass out their assignments. "Yeah, well, I got some negative comments about it so I said bye bye to the beard. Still look good though right." Danny said moving his head from side to side. Viv and Sam giggled at him and Danny smiled back. "You know Danny you could have just said that Martin didn't like the beard so you shaved it." Sam said her voice a little too innocent to not be sarcastic. Danny rolled his eyes at her as Viv laughed. "Well, I could have said that, but that would have been somewhat of a lie. I did not shave my beard merely because Martin didn't like it." Danny said. He was saved from having to say anything when Martin came back from the bathroom and promptly sat down next to Danny his leg brushing against Danny's a little longer than necessary. Sam may have been okay with his and Martin's relationship, but she wasn't necessarily comfortable talking about it. She became quiet instantly. Viv wasn't as intimidated. "So what exactly prompted you to shave off your beard?" She asked. Danny looked over to Martin who was blushing. It kind of amused Danny that Martin could be so confident when they were alone, but became a tomato when they were around others. It helped that Danny was confident around people. "Hmmm... I believe it had something to do with leather pants." Danny said and he knew Martin was blushing terribly, but he couldn't help the smirk that formed on his face. And he could practically hear Sam and Viv's curious stares the questions burning on their tongues, but he didn't say anything more as his fingers lightly played with Martin's. He looked up to see Martin smiling sweetly at him and he knew that leather pants were just the beginning.
