Matt Bellamy
Matt Bellamy is the singing guitarist for british band muse. Muse won the award for best british live act
last week at the KERRANG! awards. Very well deserved, because as of what i have seen, the guys are nutters
at their gigs. Muse have released three albums, Showbiz, Origin of Symmetry and double
album Hullaballoo.
Matt's most notable feature is his hair. Long and spiky it is often coloured, red and blue being
his choices.
Matt does have some striking things in his personality. Every couple of years he will lock
himself away for a few days and take in bags and bags of magic mushrooms. He says that it is about
reaching deep into his subconscious, i say its just plain scary!!
Matt uses customised Manson guitars. One is silver one is black. The black one has blue LED lights on it
HOW COOL!! he also uses an ibanez and prs guitar(prs pictured at top)
I really enjoy listening to muse's music as it is so original and like nothing i have ever heard before
i think that no matter what anyone says matt is a fantastic singer, an incredible guitarist, and
has a guitaring style that he has totally crafted to be his own. muse are one of my biggest inspirations,
and if i ever met them the first thing i would say is thankyou.
