Walter Schreifles is one of the leading pioneers in harcore music. After spending years in underground
bands, he has finally broke out into the rok scene with his band rival schools. Completed by
drummer sammy, bassist cache, and guitarist ian, rival schools were brought to life by supporting A on a
recent tour. I saw them play on this tour, and went on to buy tickets for their headlining show at the
same venue. When they were a support, Walter did
a fantastic stagedive from the side amps, sadly on the headline show he didnt, but still put out a great
performance. And the funnest part was that I was next to this psycho dude with long hair all night,
he was v sary but cool. (more scary tho!!)
Most of us will probs have seen Walter giving his word on the KERRANG awards, (he was the american dude who
didnt know who puddle of mudd were, he had long parted brown hair)
