Script Chapter 7
[Begin first cutscene]
[The camera circles around the Index, accelerates through a door, and arrives at the area where the Master Chief and 343 Guilty Spark suddenly teleport to]
343 Guilty Spark: "We must collect the index before we can activate the instillation."
[End first cutscene]

[Begin second and final cutscene]
[The Master Chief is standing on a large circular elevator, in the center of which the Index is being confined inside a column of energy. 343 Guilty Spark floats nearby]
343 Guilty Spark: "The energy barrier surrounding the index will deactivate when we reach the ground floor."
[The elevator begins descending. In a few moments, they have reached the ground floor]
343 Guilty Spark: "You may now retrieve the index."
[After a moment of mechanical unlocking, the Index produces a small spear-shaped device that the Chief walks up to and removes. 343 Guilty Spark then abruptly takes the Index from the Chief via some strange bolts of energy]
343 Guilty Spark: "Protocol requires that I take possession of the index for transport. Your organic form renders you vulnerable to infection. The index must not fall into the hands of the Flood before we reach the control-room and activate the instillation. The Flood is spreading, we must hurry!"
[343 Guilty Spark and the Master Chief teleport out of the scene]
[End final cutscene]
