My name is Cody Williams, and I play bass for the band eh. How did I get started in music?....Hmmmmm. I started in grade 3, with classical guitar lessons from the school music teacher but that didn`t work well. I didn`t pay attention in class, so when the Christmas concert came around I just pretended to play, and I let the other kids do the actual playing. The next time music came up in my life was in grade 9 when me and Matt wanted a band. I was gonna play bass. Then that was put on hold till the middle of grade 10. Then I was gonna be the singer. Then I got moved back to bass. I then quit for a while to do my punk band, then I dropped that, and Matt welcomed me back to EssEntial naturE, because he needs me. I`m the only real talent here(HAHA. Not really though). Well, that`s it for my history with music. A big influence on me was Kurt Cobain. That man is a genious. Another man that I`ve been influenced by is Flea from The Red Hot Chili Peppers. That guy is great. My favorite songs are Thriller-Michael Jackson, Linoleum-NoFx, One In A Million-Guns `N Roses, The City Of New Orleans-Alex Naugler(Steve Goodman cover). Right now I listen to just about everything from Michael Jackson to Slipknot eh. I think it`s good to be exposed to every kind of music.
