Curveball
The Curveball is a great pitch when mastered. The ball will appear to be coming at the batter and look good to hit, but it will start to move away from the hitter and drop as well. Pitchers like to have this in their bag of tricks and it is definitely beneficial to learn to throw it accurately.
How To Throw
The Curveball
Hold as shown above with your index and middle finger touching together, and make sure you choke the ball with your hand (hold it firmly tucked into your palm). Be sure as you release forward that you snap your wrist to a 90 degree angle upon release (this is what causes the ball to "curve" away and drop).
