Down Town Records

MORGAN did its first acoustic show at Down Town Records and though there was a lake of people, the band felt it was a fairly good start for what could be a series of acoustic shows over the next two or three months until they get back to a full lineup. From here we will write new songs, hopefully some more edgy material, but also some acoustic songs to fill an acoustic set. Thanks to Ted Riviera and the 50 Percenters for the continued support - getting us gigs even though it’s just a few guys playing an "acoustic" set is much appreciated. ...Unfortunate that Ted’s bass player was sick and couldn’t make it but they pulled it off playing a few new cuts. It was cool. All of the band members just went with it and that was very cool.

We did Let The World Come In in a minor scale this time. Hey Cecil, what key did you play it in this time? __ "Well, we usually do Let the World Come In in some sort of semi-tone scale or 8-tone or enigmatic scale...technically speaking. I transfered it to a perfect G aeolian (the aeolian is the most common form of major...it is the same as the E ionian *minor* I think). We shifted the Bb to an Am and the F to an Em, but I like it way better this way." __ Ah, thanks for clearing that up. Next show will be in February.
