Our good friend and #1 fan Lorenzo gave us a call. He wanted to get MORGAN back together for a one-time reunion show to celebrate the ten year anniversary of his first date with his now wife, Sara. Their first date was, after all, a MORGAN show! The romantic idea was intended to be a surprise for her, so we didn't bother announcing it. We fired up the gear for rehearsal and realized... it's been a long time since the last time we played. After re-learning most of the old songs and composing a medley out of a handful of the darker sounding songs, we showed up at Lorenzo's dad's house to play. A small crowd of old friends also showed up (some with kids of their own now!). Lorenzo and good friend Callie Fikter joined us to play percussion on "I've Got a Gun," and Lorenzo led MORGAN on vocals to a fitting song to his love - originally written and recorded by Jack Johnson. It was a nice occasion for a reunion and it was a lot of fun!
