They're a talent pool overflowing. It's not If, but
When, this ball of fire will ignite. Their passion and
craftsmanship electrify the house every time. Raw,
edgy, bluesy, sexy - hell, you have to see it to feel
it. Experienced tradesman Eric Brittingham drives
away on the bass like it was yesterday, flipping it
around his neck for spite. Jeff LaBar is a fiend
loose in paradise as his guitar sings for his soul.
Sean shows you what drums really were meant to do. Kris' soulful rock smacks of
classical guitar discipline, and Kristine
is a talent to be exploited on the fiddle, the
keyboards, vocally, while presenting herself as a
visual dessert. As for the Foxy singer, Inga
Brittingham, get ready for something that is long
overdue. Beautiful, strong-voiced, well-proportioned,
she's a wild Amazon - she'll take you on, put you
down and spit you out then turnaround and coo like a
dove. Beggars plays on their close
relationships on stage and the result is a big party.
Nothing
Discombobulated here.

Naked Beggars is a rock band that features Cinderella bass player Eric Brittingham and guitarist Jeff Labar. Brittingham’s wife, Inga, is the lead vocalist. At first glance, naysayer may grin and declare this band as nothing more than another case of Yoko Syndrome. In fact, Inga has already heard it all. So, let’s set the record straight before even getting to the reviews: Naked Beggars is a real rock band fronted by Mrs. Eric Brittingham. That is where the jokes and comparisons should end. The fact is Naked Beggars have a groove and a sound of their own. Looking back at Cinderella’s past catalog one can see that there is a huge blues/hard rock influence. Labar has been masking his blues licks into Cinderella’s classic songs for decades so it really should come as no surprise that he would step outside the hair band to explore his hard rock roots if given the chance. Mr. Brittingham impresses as well as he produces the band and helps arrange all of the songs. Mrs. Brittingham takes care of the vocals and seems to provide a lot of the soul of the group. It doesn’t hurt that she is sexy as hell – blond hair, tattoos, pouty lips and killer body. Oh yeah, and she can sing to boot. Inga’s vocals are hard to nail down so I am not going to try. Upon first glance there is nothing overly unique about them to set her apart from other female rock singers but upon further listening there is something special about her. Maybe it is her technique or perhaps it is her passion. Either way, the end result is a new rock band who is not afraid to be themselves. There are no detuned guitars and the songs are upbeat and fun instead of depressing. Some may show a bit of the band’s decadent side but this is, after all, rock n’ roll. The best of the bunch are the Aerosmith-ish "Ain’t Your Mama," the retro 60's feel of "Creep" and the balls-to-the-wall crunch of the title track. In the end, let’s hope this band continues and that somehow, somewhere and someway somebody has the balls to play this to the people. There are still killer rock bands loitering around out there. We just need to help spread the word. Do Naked Beggars and all of 70's style hard rock a favor and buy Spit It Out today!--Classic Rock Revisited
This, the second release by Naked Beggars, has got to be by far the best release I have heard in 2006. The band includes two members of Cinderella, guitarist Jeff LaBar and bassist Eric Brittingham on bass, along with Kris Casamento on guitars, Kristine Braswell on keyboards and fiddle, Shawn Hughes on drums, and Inga Brittingham on lead vocals. This CD is rocky, bluesy, and soulfull. Inga has an amazing enough voice that I don't understand how she isn't a household name already. All these songs are great, but the ones that really do it for me are "Whats the Question," "Hole in the Wall," "Creep," "Nothin' But Trouble," and "Too Late," where Inga really shines. Any fan of any rock music of the past thirty years will really like this release.-- Guillermo Rascon, The Scene Rocks
Inga is a cool, rock-n-roll, bluesy woman! Her vocals just blow you away. She takes full control of any situation and she is very down-to-earth laid-back woman. Her voice tops Kristie Hynde (of the Pretenders) and Pat Benatar. Her voice is just totally awesome! When I listen to Naked Beggar's music I just close my eyes and relax because the music is just phenomenal when you have unique, one-of-a-kind vocals singing the lyrics. Inga and Naked Beggars are the best I've seen yet in a long time.!--Kathy Moreland
The music clips I listened to sounded edgier than the songs on the first CD. They have more ROCK power to them. Inga reminds me of a wildcat. She sings her heart out and to me thats what it takes to make a song sound good, besides good music.--Shelly in Orlando
Inga Rocks!!! She sounds a little like Alanis Morriset on gasoline. She has is all--the looks, the attitude, and the talent! Inga completely captivates and audience when she is on stage. You find yourself so drawn in by her magnetic performance that you cannot look away!!! She is the total package. --Lora
Beggars is a kickass rock band!--Dan V.
I think Inga has one of the most voices on the planet! I LOVE her style! Love their work--period! Kudos all the way around from me!!! --Stacey
The Naked Beggars rock! And it's about frickin' time we had a new female rock vocalist on the scene. Inga has some serious pipes on her! The whole album is great, but my fav song is Discombobulated. Phew, thank you for finally giving us something we can sink our teeth into!--Jennifer Cole

This band is headed by the very tallented Inga Brittingham on lead vocals! I had the pleasure of catching the Sold out show in pottsville pa on 10~28 and this is my review but first id like to shout out to my girl Inga! Kick ass job on stage! Naked Beggars started the show off with a bang with their single Whole In The Wall. They didnt Skip a beat all the way down to Ingas rendition of Cinderella's song Coming Home which is one of my favorites to Nobodys Fool. Its great to see the old chemistry between Jeff amd Eric with a new twist. Plus you gotta love that guitar slinging!!! Heres the set list from the show..... Hole in the Wall, Spit it out, Get it on, Creep, Lies, Bitch, What's the question, Coming Home, Nobody's Fool, Ain't your mama, Nothin' but trouble

With this being my first time seeing the band I wasn't sure what to expect. I had heard reviews and comments from other fans. But you just don't know until you experience their show first hand. And it was as advertised. Bluesy, sexy, and energetic for starters. Everything from catchy choruses, and infectious grooves, to flaming drumsticks, and the soothing sounds of an uncommon violin performed by the beautiful, and talented Kristine Brasuell. Oh, and did I mention Eric and Jeff from Cinderella are in the band?
The first thing I noticed upon walking into the venue was the undeniable charisma of lead vocalist Inga Brittingham. With my camera in hand I had a hard time keeping up with her almost non-stop dancing, and prancing. Like a seasoned pro she worked the stage, and audience as if she was performing at the arena that I was at earlier in the evening. To her left and right were the guitar duo of Kris Casamento, and Jeff LaBar who complimented each other's blues rock styles on song's such as Hole In The Wall, Ain't Your Momma, and Nothin' But Trouble. The band also treated the crowd to their own versions of the Cinderella classics Nobody's Fool, and Heartbreak Station.
Bassist Eric Brittingham and drummer Shawn Hughes kept things together locking in well throughout the night. Brittingham also lended his backing vocals to several songs, and Hughes dazzled everyone with a blazing drum solo. Literally! During his brief time in the spotlight, the Baltimore born drummer proceeded to set his sticks on fire and light up the stage with excitement.
Overall the show left people begging for more. And with the low ticket price everyone left without having to give up their clothes to cover the cost of admission. Great show, low cost, and keeping your clothes on? Well two out of three ain't bad!
