The proposed gig has finally
been given a name, ' A Day in Penang - Drastically Simple Gig'. Apart from that
the band line-up has also been confirmed. The line-up is as listed below:
Predicate Not Define, Primrose
Path, Zero Dimension Array, Fuel Injection, Equipment Disaster, Donut, Seven
Collar T-Shirt, Soft Touch, Spunky Funggy, XS Denied, X-Cited Screamers and last
but not least Poseidon.

It has been very hectic this
past two weeks as we finally met up with Predicate Not Define and Primrose Path
who are Penang based. What was thought as a get together became a talk of
organizing a gig. So it started lah, the talk, the ideas and the resources to
actually organize a gig. Plans are still going on but so far a few things has
been agreed. First of all, the gig will be held at Actor's Studio Penang on the
21 June 2003. But this date is only tentative and is subject to change. Anyway
so far we manage to get 6 Northern based bands for the gig. They are, Predicate
Not Define, Primrose Path, Poseidon, Fuel Injection, Zero Dimension Array and
Equipment Disaster. Zero Dimension Array and Equipment Disaster are from Sungai
Petani and we met them last week. They are nice people and were willing to help
us out. So hip hip hooray for the boys from Sungai Petani. Anyway back to the
gig, we are also inviting 5 KL based bands to perform for the gig but we haven't
decided who will actually perform. It will be decided by the end of this week
and we will tell you more about it soon. Those who are willing to help us on the
gig, do call us cos we would love you guys out there helping us. Apart from that
there some pictures of the meeting with bands and also our jamming session in
the photo gallery, so check it out. The links has been updated with more
interesting links so have a look at it too. About the recording, we currently
still need some financial aid and hopefully we can do the recording soon. Check

There has been nothing much
happening lately for us as most of them time were are practicing to get ready
for recording soon. Anyway about 2 to 3 weeks ago we met up with Damn Dirty Apes
and they told us a lot of things on recording and stuff. It was our first to
time out meeting a band and it turned to be a good one too as Paul gave us a lot
of information on gigs and how to prepare for the upcoming recording. We also
took some CDs and cassettes from them to try to sell them and so far the
sales are ok. We are also planning to meet other Penang based band such as
Predicate Not Define and also Primrose Path soon. And one last thing, the links
section has been updated again with links of other local underground band. Check

Sorry for the late update guys.
But anyway first things first, on the 23rd of February we went for a gig which
was held in Actor's Studio Penang which was organized by Damn Dirty Apes. There
were seven bands altogether who performed that day and among all of them Sgt.
Weeners Arm, Seven Collar T-Shirt and Damn Dirty Apes were the most outstanding
ones. But the other bands were not bad too. It was the first time that DDA
performed in Penang after releasing their mini album Valve State Dreams and to
tell you the truth guys it was awesome. All of us had fun and by the end of the
day our ears were ringing as we were at the front row (just next to the
speakers). We managed to get some photos of the gig and if you would like to see

We are currently jamming and
enjoying ourselves but at the same time new and weird stuff are popping out and
if all goes well we hope to do a recording soon. It will be some sort of a mini
album with maybe about five songs or so. We are hoping for your support once
this project is completed. WE BELIEVE IN YOU SO PLEASE BELIEVE IN US..... . We
do have some financial problems due to the lack of funds available. As for now
we are currently trying our best to get some cash or sponsorship in any kind to
ease our burden and also to make this mini album a reality as soon as possible.
Well as you guys know everyone
has financial crisis these days, but thankfully Mr. Kalai who is actually from
Sweden was here in Malaysia last month. He was very generous after watching us
jamming and gave us a sum of money to help us out to pursue our project. Anyway
we would like to take this opportunity to thank him again as he has officially
started our project by giving us the contribution.
As you you can see we have
updated the website again, so check it out. The photo gallery has been updated
so do check it out and also I have changed the message board to guest book cos
most of you guys are more familiar with this term. Please do sign our guest book
and leave us a message. The links section has also been updated and do check out
the new links. We have also submitted our info to the local underground music
website and you can check it out by clicking this link.
