Leo Francis Wade
In fond & loving memory
of a dear
Husband, Father,
Grandfather & Great-grandfather
Leo Wade
Who passed away on
January 13, 1996
Aged 78 Years
A little tear falls from our eyes
We swallow hard, try not to cry,
We think of you so far away
One year ago you died today.
The many things you did for us
In your kind and loving way
Will give us years of happiness
No one can take away.
A father with loyalty and tact
Never too busy to sit and chat
A heart of gold, hard working hands
You guided our path & helped us along
If we follow your footsteps, we can never go wrong.
The family chain is broken now
And nothing is the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.
The flowers we lay upon your grave
May wither and decay
But the love for you who lies beneath
Will never fade away.
Lovingly remembered & sadly missed
by wife Sarah and family.

Memories of Mother's Hands
The were endlessly willing to tie loose shoelaces,
make building block towers, wipe tears from small faces.
And they never seemed tired of mending ragged teddy bears,
clapping for recitals, winding ribbons through hair.
Yet in a lifetime of service tenderly given,
I find the dearest gift-
the memory of those hands folder in prayer next to mine.
In Memory of a Dear Grandmother - Great-Grandmother
Of all that life has given
and all that's left to do
we'll never know a great gift
than the years we spent with you.
It broke our hearts to loose you
but you did not go alone
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
Dear God, take a message
to our grandmother up above
please tell her that we miss her
and give her all our love.

A Mother's Love
A mother's love is a blessing,
do not treat her with scorn,
Don't miss her while she's living
for you'll miss her when she's gone;
Do not speak hasty to her,
cause her no moment's pain,
For remember she's your mother,
and she loves you just the same.
And in that cot there dwells beside
a mother old and kind;
No love like hers upon this earth
you never more shall find.
A mother's love is a blessing,
do not treat her with scorn,
Don't miss her while she's living
for you'll miss her when she's gone;
Do not speak hasty to her,
cause her no moment's pain,
For remember she's your mother,
and she loves you just the same.
When trouble comes upon you,
and you know not what to do,
Your mother understands it all,
and she will help you through;
But now she's old and feeble,
and her hair is turning grey,
For you'll never miss her value
till she's placed beneath the clay.
A mother's love is a blessing,
do not treat her with scorn,
Don't miss her while she's living
for you'll miss her when she's gone;
Do not speak hasty to her,
cause her no moment's pain,
For remember she's your mother,
and she loves you just the same.
