The two day Torbay holiday which occurs in the month of July. It's the one weekend a year for the residents of Torbay and surrounding areas to put away their busy schedules, get out and have some fun and meet old friends.
You'll see more former residents of Torbay who have moved away come home for this weekend than for any other holiday during the year, so it's the perfect opportunity to see those old school classmates that you haven't seen in years.
Swiler's Days start with an official opening at the Town Hall. During the weekend there are all sorts of events including a motorcade of Antique Autos, open house at the museum, a Kid's Fun-A-Rama, tug-of-war, Folk Festival on Saturday and Sunday, and an outdoor dance.
The closing ceremony commences with the ending of the Folk Festival followed by fireworks at the festival site in Bauline Line.
