-The Kush Project
Metal supergroup 'The Kush Project' are hoping to release their debut album sometime this year, members of said band are:-

- B-Real "Cypress Hill" (vocals)
- Stephen Carpenter "Deftones" (guitar)
- Christian Olde Wolbers "Fear Factory" (bass)
- Raymond Herrera "Fear Factory" (drums)

"I don't do anything in Kush different from what I do in the Deftones; it's just a whole different set of circumstances. The heavier stuff is more welcome in Kush. It's more accepted there because we all wanna play heavy stuff, so it just comes out. It's stuff I would be playing anyway, if it didn't get shot down where I'm at. If you like Deftones, chances are you'll probably like what I am doing in Kush. It's the same style of fun shit. We've been talking about it forever and now we're doing it." -Stephen Carpenter

"Within a couple of days we all put it together and a week after that we'd already written 9 songs and now we have 17 recorded and we hope to put it out next year sometime...Me and Stef met in Houston in 95 and we became very good friends and always talked of playing together." -Christian Olde Wolbers

Are both playing it loads this week). And the song aint bad neither!

-Paul S Club
Paul from S Club 7 has left to re-join his old college metal band! w00t! \m/ check this out from the 'Top Of The Pops' website...

"7's Number's Up!

Ah, it's an end of a golden era as Chunky Paul from S Club 7 bows out to join his old school metal band!

The cute skinhead singer broke the news to the band yesterday just before the rest of the Clubbers signed a new £5 million deal with their record company Polydor. Even though the new deal would have made Paul a millionaire he has decided to go back to his rock roots.

The brave lad told the Sun: "It was just time for me to move on. I've had an incredible time with S Club 7 but, like any job, there comes a time for you to leave." Of his new band, Skua, he says: "We have all remained good friends and we want to give it a go. I was the lead singer for a number of years. The band's music is a bit nu metal, like Rage Against The Machine."

Paul will play his last date with the band in June and the other six members will carry on as S Club. Good luck Paul! We can't wait to see you in your newly long hair and tight leather trews."
wankers.

-SAVE AMEN!
Yes kids, its the classic tale of the major record company fucking over an amazing band in the name of profit, apparently Amen’s third album is, and I quote the head of Virgin Records "not a commercial enough venture". What this means people is that amen will have to pay back the entire $250,000 production costs for their album to see the light of day, they of course have NO money and are on the verge of bankruptcy, even possibly splitting up SO HELP THEM OUT by going here.

-Demo
The DEMO is finally burnt! David will receive a copy promptly, and we will request he MP3 them ASAP. Thanks must go out to Roger Pinsent for helping us burn the CD, much appreciate it Rog. (see if you can find his name some ware else on the Mud Stuffin Records site...)
