Led Zeppelin's Biography

Here is a list of numerical events as to what occured to start Led Zeppelin: 1.Jimmy page, in "The Yardbirds" has John Paul Jones do the orchestra part of the album. 2.Robert Plant and John Bonham's Band "The Band of Joy" split up. 3.Jimmy Page sets out to reform the yardbirds after the members abandoned him and Peter Grant. 4.Peter Grant(manager) goes to see Robert Plant perform with another of his small bands, and some time later, asks Plant to join Page's band(Plant accepts). 5.The bassist in Page's band is replaced by John Paul Jones. 6.Robert Plant tells Page to hire John Bonham as the drummer. 7.Eventually after being offered,John Bonham joins. 8.The name Led Zeppelin arose from Keith Moon(a member who was going to be in the project), originally it was spelt as Lead Zeppelin, but the "lead" part was changed to "led" to avoid any mis-pronounciation. The name wasnt actually used in the new 4 person setup(Page,Plant,Jones,Bonham) until later. 9.The rest is history, ^_^
