ANDREAS DERIS
Helloween lead vocalist
This man is my ultimate idol. He is one of the most original and amazing vocalists ever. He can sing great and has amazing range. He is an excellent songwriter and his lyrics can be very thought provoking and inspiring. He's a family guy with a beautiful wife and kid and an extremely nice and down to earth person. He also is pretty much the reason my favorite band, Helloween is still alive and kicking ass today so that is something to forever to be greatful about. I do lead vocals for a band so he is a major influence to me and I dream to be as good as him someday. I was fortunate to see Helloween live in NYC in 2003 and I was front row where I was acknowledged by Andi Deris and even got to sing the chorus to "Open Your Life" with him. That insane and I can't say a single person has more of an influence on me than him.
CHUCK SCHULDINER
Death lead guitarist/vocalist
Words can't even describe how deep in my heart this man is. Chuck Schuldiner is a true genius. With his band Death, he created the entire death metal genre and added such complexity and melody to his thrashy, heavy, fast songs. Over the years his music became much more complex, much more melodic and advanced so much. And most of his lyrics were about true life situations and emotion, and he always spoke to support those who are true to themselves and to not care about those who in life will try to bring you down. He's eternally inspiring to me. Unfortunately he passed away in 2001 from a brain stem tumor. However, his soul will always live on through his fans from his memory and his music. God bless you, Chuck. R.I.P.
EDUARDO FALASCHI
Angra lead vocalist
He is the lead vocalist for one of the greatest power metal bands of all time straight out of Brazil. His range is amazing. His voice can sooth yet be powerful and with great conviction. He is a wonderful songwriter and actually I have been told my vocal style is rather similar to him so he is a definite influence and one of the most talented singers I have ever heard.
