Hey everyone! If anybody still visits this site. We'd like to let you know that we posted a couple of our songs from our final album in the music section. I think I speak for all of us when i say i miss this band...who knows, maybe we will emerge someday...but this site will always be up. anyways, if you want a copy of the album (no charge) email me, Joey, at mainsa@cc.wwu.edu. Thanks!

Hey everybody! We are just now finishing up our full length CD. It has 11 songs and we can't wait to see how it turns out. But we have some bad news. Vertigo is splitting up after the CD is done. We played our last show at the Eastlake Baccaleaureate, and now because of college and other reasons, we are ending it with our CD. You can still get a copy of our CD though and it has all the songs from our old demo except for Who'm I Kidding (Wasting Time). Just email us at vertigoband@hotmail.com. Thanks to everyone that supported us, and keep a lookout for other bands that some of us may play in later on. I will update the site if anything changes. The site will be up until atleast January where it will be reverted to https://www.angelfire.com/rock3/vertigo. Thanks again.

Hey everyone! Thanks to everyone that showed up at the Pacific Music Battle of the Bands! We had an enormous crowd and we took 1st Place at the show!!! We get 10 hours of studio time and are anxious to get started. Also, don't forget about our 2 upcoming shows in June. More details will come soon. Thanks to The Past, Poetic Silence, And Ever, and Breakaway for playing at the show, and thanks to Cody Who, Acceptance, and Bud Peterson for judging. That's all for now!

May 11, 2004
Sorry we haven't updated in a while. We just raised about $150 at the car wash and sold a lot of CDs too!! Don't forget, we have a few small shows next week. We have been writing a lot of new material. We'll keep you posted. Also, our full length album is kind of on hold because our the guy that's recording us has a lot of work to do for his own stuff, so we may not have it done until the end of the summer. We'll keep you posted. That's all for now!

April 15, 2004
Hey everyone, we just updated the site with a lot of new pictures. We also added a show on Sunday April 18th with Serafym and This Providence at the Timberlake Battle of the Bands. The show is at Timberlake Christian Fellowship. If your coming from Redmond, take Redmond/Fall City Road (HWY 202) towards Fall City and take a left after the Albertsons. The church is on the left. Also, we added a rough recording of Trapped. We are re-recording the guitar solo, adding vocals, and redoing some drum tracks on Tuesday, so don't worry, this version is pretty rough. A lot of people have been asking about music on the site, so as soon as we get more recorded, we will post them. That's all for now!

Mar. 25, 2004
The show on Thursday was great! We played Stand Up, Trapped, and I Believe, and Skyline seemed to enjoy it. We also sold a few CDs and booked another show at Skyline. We also began recording on Friday, and got all the music to Trapped recorded and mixed, except for vocals. Keep checking back for updates.

Mar. 25, 2004
Hey everyone! We just confirmed our show at Skyline High School on April 1st, so don't forget about that one. Also, we will be playing sometime in May at Skyline again for a Battle of the Bands, so keep a lookout in the shows section for more details. We are going to start recording soon and hopefully have it done by June. So keep checking back. That's all for now!

Feb. 27, 2004
Hey everyone! If you saw us play at the Kirkland Teen Center you may have heard a couple new songs. We already posted fall but we just posted Chris' new song, Know Not. It was the first song we played at KTC. Tell us what you think at the Message Board. That's all for now, keep a lookout for a show at the end of March or early April.

Feb. 20, 2004
Hey everyone, sorry we haven't updated in awhile. We just played our show at Kirkland Teen Center, and it was pretty intense! We played with Imaginary Penpals (with Joey) and Boss Tweeter, whom you should definitely check out! We have a tentative show date on March 17th at Skyline High School for a Talent Show, so check out the shows section for details as they develop. Thanks to everyone that came out tonight to see us play!

Jan. 29, 2004
Hope you like the renovations to the site! We also added a links section with links to other bands in our neighborhood, so check them out! Also, we are going to start recording on Friday, but since we are recording 14 songs, it may take a while. We'll keep you posted. That's all for now!

Jan. 25, 2004
Hey everyone, we have yet another song posted. At the last band practice (Saturday), Phil came up with an incredible piano riff, and the band turned it into something great. Joey threw in some lyrics that he wrote a little while ago, and the song is turning out great. It's called Fall and it is in the music section. It will be on the CD, so there will now be 14 tracks. That's all for now!

Jan. 21, 2004
Hey everyone, we just re-did the site to some degree, but we're not done! Hope you enjoy our new logo! Also, we added a new show on February 20th at the Kirkland Teen Center, so keep a lookout for time and cost! We are playing with Valor's Minion (great Skyline band), Boss Tweeter, and Imaginary Penpals (side project for Joey). Also, we will be recording a 13-track CD in the next month or two, and we will hopefully have it by the beginning of March! Keep checkin back! Everything in the music section will be on the CD except "Backlash" and "Day of Defeat." We will be re-recording the tracks on the current E.P. That's all for now!

Jan. 6, 2004
Hey everyone! The show last Friday was an interesting one. Because of the snow, all the other bands that were supposed to play didn't show, so we were the only band. We played all our songs, but we only planned to play for a half hour. Thanks for being there if you were! We are planning on some shows in February, so keep a lookout!

Dec. 17, 2003
We just added a new song that Joey wrote called "Pendulum." Also, Chris' highly anticipated new song that we played at the Firehouse is finally up. They're in the music section, so check out the lyrics and tell us what you think on the Message Board!! Also, Vertigo is planning on starting a full length recording after the winter break, so keep a lookout in the first few months of the year! Merry Christmas!

Dec. 1, 2003
Hey everyone! Hope you had a good holiday! We just added a new Message Board so you can post anything you want there. It can also be found in the contact section! We are working with some new songs still and trying to tighten up our music before we go in to record. We raised nearly $100 in CD sales the last week also by selling CD's at the Firehouse and at Skyline! If you want a copy, it is only $3 now, so email us. That's all for now!

Nov. 24, 2003
Hey everyone! Thanks to everybody that came to the Firehouse show. It was intense!! We had a great time and can't wait for our next show. So far, we aren't scheduled until January, but hopefully we can play before then. We are working on some new stuff and planning on recording in the near future. Also, our current E.P. is now only $3, so go to Bird Shaped Holes in the Sky, and Ocean Kamotion will close the night. It's gonna be a tight show, bring your friends. We will sell demos for $5, so bring cash. That's all for now.

Nov. 14, 2003
We just added a new show to the shows section. We went to another band pool at the Old Redmond Firehouse and got voted in along with Ocean Kamotion, Keg, and the Sidearms. The show is not until January 2nd. We are also playing with Ocean Kamotion and Keg next Saturday Nov. 22 at the Firehouse, so don't forget. It's only 6 dollars, or 5 dollars if you are dressed like a pilgrim or indian or something. Also, we have a new song written by Chris called "Stand Up." It will be posted shortly in the music section. That's all for now, check back for more shows.

October 30, 2003
Hey everyone! We had a great show last night at the Eastlake Battle of the Bands. The sound quality wasn't the greatest, but there was a lot of energy. The other bands were tight too, including Get Dressed, Our Eyes Connected, Your Toll (...uh...), and Imaginary Penpals (a gig with Joey on drums and former bandmate Tyler Johnson on acoustic guitar). Our next show is in only a few weeks at the Old Redmond Firehouse. Check out the shows section for details on the show. That's all for now!

Oct. 28, 2003
Hey everyone. We just learned that the Battle of the Bands at Eastlake has been changed from Tuesday to Wednesday October 29th. The show will be held in the auxilary gym at Eastlake High School. The gym is located on the very bottom floor (basement floor). Also, Joey will be playing drums with Tyler Johnson (former band member of Joey and Chris' old band, My Own Fate). They call themselves Imaginary Penpals. It is only 3 dollars to get in, or just 3 cans of food. For more details go to the shows section. Also, we just added some pictures from the talent show in the picture section. There is also now a Miscellaneous Section for pictures with some...interesting shots...that's all for now!

Oct. 27, 2003
Sorry we didn't update sooner. The Talent Show at Eastlake was a blast on Oct. 15! Now we are getting ready for the show on Tuesday at Eastlake for Battle of the Bands. It's cheap, and it's going to be fun, so if you have 3 dollars or 3 cans of food, you're in! Check it out in the shows section. Also, we added more pictures so check it out! That's all for now!

Oct. 13, 2003
We added a couple more shows for this month. In addition to the talent show this Wednesday at Eastlake, we are playing at Skyline the following week, then Eastlake again for a Battle of the Bands the following week after. September 23, 2003
We just added a picture section. We will soon add the show pictures that we have, and we have band practice pictures up now with Bryan. Also, Bryan's bio is in the bio section. Also, we are very excited for the Talent Show on Oct. 15th at Eastlake. The Talent Show is not on the 14th, so don't go that day. That's all for now!

September 29, 2003
We had fun at the party on Saturday. We didn't exactly have all the songs ready with Bryan, but we had fun with the songs that we knew. We are really excited about our new song "Trapped" and are excited to play it in upcoming shows. Also, don't forget about our GUESTBOOK in our contact section. That's all for now!

September 10, 2003
The band has gone through a bit of a lineup change. The band decided to bring in a new drummer named Bryan Saftler. Because of scheduling conflicts, Byron won't be able to practice with us, so the band decided to find a new drummer. But Vertigo would like to thank Byron for his drumming on the E.P., in shows, practice, and just being a fun guy to be around. As for Bryan, we will post his info as soon as possible, but we are currently teaching him the songs, and our first practice with him went very well. Also, we added three new shows to the shows list, but only two will be available to the "general public". That's all for now!

August 20, 2003
The lyrics to Joey's new song "Trapped" have been posted in the music section so check it out. We haven't been able to practice yet since Chris is getting back from California and Byron is going to Oregon, but keep a lookout for shows in the fall. That's all for now!

August 17, 2003
Sorry we haven't kept you posted the last couple months, but we've been on vacation and had a lot going on. The show on July 24th at Cold Stone was excellent and we will post pictures as soon as we develop them. Also, we posted a new song "Simplicity" in the music section. Those of you that went to the show at Cold Stone may have heard it, but the song wasn't completely finished lyrics wise. But Joey wrote the final verse. We've also been writing quite a bit. Chris has come up with a couple of tunes that the band is jamming with and Joey wrote a new song on his trip to New Jersey so keep a lookout in the music section. That's all for now, no shows currently lined up because everyone is just getting back from vacation, but keep a lookout in the fall!

June 24, 2003
Alright, so we're having another car wash on Sunday June 29th to raise money for a new drumset. It's probably gonna be 5 bucks again, so come to the Shell Gas Station off Inglewood Hill Road in Sammamish around 11AM until 2PM. We will be selling CDs for 5 bucks also. Also, don't forget about our show on July 24th outside of Cold Stone Creamery in Sammamish. It will be a slightly softer set because of the "environment" that we are playing, but we will be doing a lot of covers, so check out the shows section for details. We will be selling CDs there also, so bring some cash. That's all for now!

June 20, 2003

May 7, 2003

We got everything recorded and all we need to do now is one more vocal fix for Chris and then we gotta mix the thing. If you don't live around us, email us and we can send you a copy. Go to our contact section for emails. Also, when you listen to the CD, fast forward about 2 minutes after the last song.

The Talent Show at Skyline last night was a blast! We played Songs of Yesterday and good friend of Vertigo (and possibly a new member) Phil Waldenberg stepped in on keyboards.
