Here are some short descriptions of the teachers you will encounter:
9th Grade (Freshmen)
Miss Simms (biology)- A tall, skinny woman with gray hair and a long nose. She is the epitome of evil. Her voice is raspy from cigarettes and she never gives anyone an A, even perfect students. She is known to cane people.
Mrs. Foxx (Social Studies)- A cheerful young woman with blonde hair and pretty blue eyes. She is twenty-seven and very friendly.
Mr. Calvin (Algebra 1)- Tall and kind, he is middle aged and very understanding. He tries his best and it is obvious. He has black hair and light brown eyes.
Ms. Gladden (English 9)- She is short with long brown hair and green eyes. She can be really nice and pretty scarring, depending on how hard you work. If you're nice to her, she's nice to you.
Mr. Smith (P.E.)- A tough guy. He will make you run until you drop, and then he'll laugh.
10th Grade (Sophomore)
Mrs. Banks (chemistry)- A middle aged woman who's ditsy and strict. She is tall with reddish hair and brown eyes. She is nice if you like chemistry.
Mr. Poe (World History)- He is of medium height with black hair and blue eyes. He is in his mid twenties and the girls find him 'gorgeous'. A very nice, kind-hearted man.
Miss Kaye (geometry)- She's nice, but she shouldn't be a teacher. She is short with blonde hair and green eyes, and she wears little glasses.
Mr. Ballard (English 10)- Nice and enthusiastic. He will work with you to help you get a good grade. He is always looking out for his students, and he finds something good in all of them (even the notorius John Lennon!). A good guy.
Miss Slate (P.E.)- Thank God it's your last year of P.E. aye? She understands. She is tall and skinny with dyed blonde hair and brown eyes. She is a bit ditsy, but funny.
11th Grade (Junior)
Mr. French (geosystems)-Friendly and nice. He is short and chubby, with brown eyes and almost no hair! He is funny, but not intentionally.
Mrs. Lucka (Europian History)- An easy subject and an easy-going teacher. She is tall and pretty with blue eyes and red hair.
Mr. Grossir (Algebra 2)- Mean and boring! He is tall with brown hair and hazel eyes. He doesn't understand the concept of 'teach'. He stands at the front of the class and talks to the board. Lame-o.
Miss Jasper (English 11)- Pretty and nice. She has long, curly brown hair and brown eyes and is in her early twenties.
12th Grade (Senior)
Mr. Raze (Computer Science)- Nice and a bit weird. He has brownish-red hair and blue eyes.
Mr. Coven (American History)- Tall and scarey. He has long, black hair and dark , dark eyes. Some find him interesting (even attractive), but most find him to be very frightening.
Mrs. Johannsen (Calculus)- A difficult class, but she tries to make it easy. A kind, helpful woman of thirty. She is short and pretty with brown hair and light green eyes.
Miss Lahey (English 12)- "It's pronounced 'lay'" is her greeting to the class. She is tall and funny with brown hair and blue eyes. She will give you a good time.
Other Electives (for all grades!!)
Art: Taught by Mr. Braddock. It is a very fun class, that allows you to explore the world through colors. 'Life' painting is also a part of the curriculem.
Foreign Language: Taught by Mr. Lancheshire (Spanish); Miss Hayes (French); Mrs. Bryant (Latin); and Mr. Praski (German). These classes are all fun. At the end of the year, you can go on a trip to the country you have studied to furthur learn the culture.
Chorus: Taught by Mrs. Laughny. A great class, especially for music majors. Sing for your soul. Also has a Spring Trip.
Band: Taught by Mr. Raussy. A great experience.
Orchestra: Taught by Mr. Behman. Fun!!
Dance: Taught by Miss Russel. A great way to learn how to groove. Fun and well worth it. Monthly trips to the ballet too.
The Quarry Men: A school band lead by John Lennon (guitar and lead vocals). It is a very cool band, and they make money (not to mention, pick up chicks!). Must audition for John before you can be a member.
