They brought along with them music, love and good times. For nearly a decade, we sang along with them as they taught us about the power of love and the promise of life.Unfortuately, the Beatles weren't immortal. On December 8th, 1980, John Lennon was shot and killed by Mark David Chapman outside his apartment building, The Dakota, in NYC. I don't know why anyone would do that to such a loving, caring person. I think they should have done something instead of believing that the guy was just crazy.But John would not want us to be sad. He would want us to go on with our lives. And, I will.Also, November 29th, 2001, cancer claimed the life of young George Harrison, the "Beatle Baby". He had had cancer in his throat, lungs, and brain. In 1998, he was stabbed. Luckily, he survived many a time...but the cancer in the brain was just too much for him. Now, a guitar gently weeps.On a happier note, this page has bios, photos, and stories by the one...the only, John Lennon. So stick around!
