Chance & Cole dressed up in their favorite children show characters...Blues Clues & Elmo! They were a hit with the neighborhood kids...both Americans & Germans alike. Cole loved passing out the candy to fellow trick or treaters who rang our door. They came in groups, so he had a hard time getting the candy out to them fast! Chance was content to let his little brother do all the work since he was a little worn out from the outdoor costume parade earlier at his school! (Mommy forgot her camera!) Once we got out of the house, Cole realized other people were handing out treats. He had no problem going back to a house over and over with his Elmo pail! Chance, however, had scary costume/stranger phobia, so he gave Blues Clues an unfriendly rep when he refused to go near people even for candy! They had to chase him in order to put the treat in his bag! The boys were more fascinated with the glow sticks given by our neighbor. They waved them around in the dark night enamored with the bright glow! We were a mismatched group with Joe dressed as an inmate and I as a gypsy, but we had fun trick or treating within the military community. What a batty night! Whew!
