The Morning After Biography
The band originally started with the name "Massive Theory" in early 2001. Massive Theory contained the current members that The Morning After contains with the exception of Jason Arnold, who left the band due to..."creative differences". The band took this in stride and began working on finding a new singer. But with this new change to the band also came new chaos. The bass player, Shane, went off and joined the Army. The guitar player, Brandon, and now lead singer, went off and moved to South Carolina. And the drummer, Arron, moved to Atlanta, TX. So the band was split up all over the world. In early 2004 Shane got out of the army and picked up his bass once more. This is when he started playing bass for rapper Direkt on his album Mascara Marathon. This created the friendship between The Morning After and Laughing Target Records, of which Direkt was the owner. Brandon soon returned from South Carolina and caught back up with Shane and they formed The Morning After. There was just one key element missing....A drummer, So Shane got in contact with former Massive Theory drummer Arron and got him to rejoin the new band and together they took the whole thing in a completely new direction.
