We were fortunate to get Bo as a pick-of-litter. His dam was a lovely, petite fawn bitch, who if shown we believed would have easily finished. It's not often we're able to convince breeders to enter into this kind of agreement, so we were thrilled. Bo certainly met all our expectations--first champion for his sire, Raider; two-time ABC Top 20 Contender; sire of the 1995 ABC Best Puppy in the Futurity. Bo packed a powerful punch in the show ring while he was campaigned--he finished in 2 weekends with four majors, handled by Gary Steele; was a multiple BISS winner and a Group 1 winner, many of these with his owner/handler. Bo was first and foremost a "show dog," and shared some of his most glorious wins with his best buddy and comrade-in-arms, Kimberlie Steele.

In October 1997, Bo was diagnosed with aortic valve bacterial endocarditis, an infection that presents itself through the bloodstream. After a courageous two-month battle, Bo died in my arms. But, Bo lives on through his puppies, and of course in our memories and hearts. Bo achieved his ABC Sire of Merit status in 2001, and is also a producer of producers...1 ABC DOM and 1 ABC SOM.
