Yume Ryuu's current mood is:

So many ideas, so little time. Ideas seem to flow into my head into water, although getting them down onto paper is something I can't seem to do. If you could take a look into my mind, you would be amazed at all the ideas I have for some drawings for the RPG, ideas for manga, and stories that I wish I could just get onto paper (that's probably why I have so many headaches - people always said it was my long hair, but now I know that's not the case!)

Just to let you have an idea of who I am, here's a little few tidbits of information about myself:

What can I say? I am obsessed about the very RPG that I created.

While sitting at my computer desk in my Dorm Room on a cold Saturday afternoon, just after watching Digimon on FOX kids, I thought to myself: 'I want to create an RPG like no other...Something that people will remember.'
At the time I was fading from existance from an Sailor Moon RPG called 'The Missing Shards'. Don't get me wrong, I loved that Sailor Moon RPG, but boredom began to take it's tole when the GM didn't post to much and so all the players went rampent and did their own thing. Eventually chaos kicked in and everyone became lost in their own little worlds. All the characters (25+ of them) had lost sight of what the actual plot was. Not long after, the GM scraped her original idea and threw us all into a new Sailor Moon RPG which I began to hate and so I eventually just stopped posting. I went from being a Dark Mage to a Pirate...I was not a happy camper.

I wanted something different for an RPG. I wanted to post regularly, and adjust my ideas to fit everyone's needs and wants. And so The Forgotten Crests began to take shape.
Over the course of many days, I seemed to focus more on the creation of my RPG, then my school work. (it didn't hurt my marks at all, but when I look back on it, it was kind of funny). Exams were just around the corner (December 8th) and I was busy working away at an RPG in the time I had off to study.
From that point on, I drew a couple of sketches of what I wanted my character to look like...The first sketch I immediately scraped. Why? Because it looked like Mimi with a trench coat. Then I just closed my eyes and began to think.
Hitori Tenshi was born one day when I was doodling on my paper, staring blankly at an mIRC window. I loved Usagi Tsukino's hair style, so I drew a girl with odangos. I also loved the triangle eyes and facial structure that Ken Ichijouji had, and so I drew a girl with the same type features. Believe it or not, I still have her very first sketch:

Hitori's First Picture - She still has some of the qualities from this picture, but I changed the costume and made the hair longer and her bangs thicker.

From then on, things were added and changed to suite exactly what I invisioned her to be. The concept of Hitori was from a fanfic I had written, which was never completed, about Hitori and Myotismon's first encounter. I took bits and pieces from this unfinished fic and placed it in the RPG so that Hitori's background could be clearer to everyone. In the beginning, Hitori's crest was supposed to be the Crest of Trust, but I soon scraped that and gave her the Crest of Life at the last moment.

Sen Oikawa, was first known as Sen Gekidoku (this was her name in the beginning, and it meant 'Deadly Cable'). She was created at the last moment as an adversary for Hitori. In the beginning, my friend JC played Taiteki, the keeper of the Crest of Death, whom Sen had a crush on, but Taiteki was in love with Hitori. It was a very big love triangle that, unfortunately in the end, did not work out. My friend JC left the RPG and Sen was left without a purpose. Although at this moment, her character was open to a whole new world and I began to develop her beyond what I had ever expected I would. She became a main role for me to play around with and I was beginning to focus more on her than Hitori. Eventually I gave her the important role of being the creator of Akumamon which was never intended before. But I have no regrets. Despite how quickly she was made (Through a mixture of the hair style I saw on a character from Weiss Kreuz, Satsuki's cable controlling abilities from X, and two pictures in an Animerica magazine for her outfit), Sen ranks as one of the best characters I have ever created.

Both Sen and Hitori, are something more. I am a mixture of both of them. The name Hitori came from how I was feeling the moment I created her, Alone. She embodied how I felt at University. Tenshi, was a last name that came later. When translated to english, both names together don't make a whole lot of sense, but you can get the idea. Hitori = Alone, Tenshi = Angel. Alone Angel. I have a strange obsession with angels and so it grew from that. Sen, represented the anger and how I felt I was misunderstood by the world. I guess you can say that Hitori represents the angel on my right shoulder and Sen represents the devil on my left. Both Hitori and Sen, to me, mean alot more than two characters within an RPG. They are pieces of my personality and being embodied into two anime characters that unfortunately will never be brought to life except within my RPG.

Akumamon, was created also with little to no background. I just created him as a virus that the digi-destined had to defeat, but like my other characters, his background developped into something different and exciting. In the beginning, there were no Crests of Darkness. But eventually I thought would be neat for each crest to have an opposite. So when I opened the RPG, I had something different that could catch peoples eye. It took me days to come up with the best combination of crests. I wish I still had my list, for I could show you what were some of the names of the other crests which I had considered putting in.

Where did the name 'The Forgotten Crests' come from? Believe it or not, it is somewhat of a joke. It was a name I came up with in about 15 seconds and it was to poke fun at the title of the Sailor Moon RPG I had been in for the longest time: 'The Missing Shards'
So in actual fact, the name of my RPG almost has nothing to do with the RPG in general. *evil grin*

The RPG itself opened on December 1st, 2000. I had been accepting applications before that, but it wasn't till the RPG opened that the e-mails started pouring in. I posted the modo "Bringing Digimon RPGs to a whole new level", and it stuck. The Forgotten Crests is unlike any RPG I have ever seen. It grew into something I will keep with me. Over the course of many months, players have come and gone, but I will never regret knowing or meeting them. Every single person that has been involved in my RPG and want to thank a million times over. You've helped create something special and without you, this RPG would never have been possible.
