Family: Phillipe Bellefeuille (father) is a police officer in a small provincial town. His average height accompanied by a rather heavy build, seems very typical of a police officer. He takes a great deal of pride in his job and having mainly raised Adrienne on his own, she shares many of his ideals making her truly her father's daughter.
There isn't much known about Adrienne's mother, Julia, save that she died shortly after Adrienne was born from complications of the pregnancy.
Lt. Cedric Bellefeuille (brother) is ten years Adrienne's senior and despite the age gap, the two are very close. With his father's encouragement, he joined the National Guard when he was 18.
History: Adrienne and Cedric were raised by Julia and Phillipe Bellefeuille in one of the many small towns that littered the French countryside until Julia's death in 1813, shortly after Adrienne was born. An upper-middle class family, Phillipe supported his family through a career in law enforcement
and deeply instilled in his children that the government was, indeed, working for the benefit of all, and as citizens ofFrance, it was their duty to give their support.
When Cedric was 18 and Adrienne eight, he decided to join the National Guard. While his father was thrilled that his son had decided to join the military, he felt a little slighted that he hadn't wanted to follow in his footsteps and become a police officer, so he began pushing Adrienne in that direction. Though he was well aware that the chances of her actually being allowed
to join the ranks of the France police were nil, he still had the hopes that perhaps when she was married and had a son, his grandson would attain that goal.
Adrienne was fifteen when she first, seriously, asked her father to help her find a job in the police force, the lessons he had taught since she was a toddler forever ingrained on her mind. She knew, with unwavering certainity, that she wanted to help keep
order in France, and see to it that those who broke the law didn't go unpunished. Happily, Phillipe pulled all the strings he could to try to make his daughter's wishes come true. Even though he was met with little success, he was determined not to give up.
Several months after this began, Cedric returned home, briefly. He was pained to learn of his sister's plight, wishing her to settle down, marry, and live a nice, safe, peaceful life. He spent his entire stay trying to convince her that this was the best course of action. She ought to leave dangerous jobs, such as
police and military related ones, to men. She was not to be swayed, though, convinced there were to be certain cases that required a woman's touch.
Two years later, her dream became a reality. Well, more or less. Unaware of her father's influence in the matter, she was invited to be trained in police proceedure in a one on one enviroment to deal with special cases. She wasn't going to be instated in active duty, but she was to go out, when called upon, and gather information on criminal activities, and where she could, infiltrate various gangs in an attempt to bring them to justice.
During the course of two years, her gender and apparent youth lifting her above suspicion, she had infiltrated and brought one group of thieves to justice as well as assisted on several other
single incident cases when she was called upon to uncover information reguarding rumours of student revolutionaries planning to attempt to overthrow the government.
