Many years ago a Chemist was experimenting on human specimens, the Chemist was careless, he didn't care who he hurt, or what he turned the people into.
Traveling in front of the lab, a man named Xane was grabbed and pulled into the lab by a woman of extravigent beauty and great strength. He was pulled into a room filled with huge tubes that were filled to the brim with a liquid of a strange color. Every tube had a man or woman in it except one. Xane was asked nicely to lay on a table in the center of the room, when he refused he was knocked out from behind.
While he was unconcious the Chemist and his apprentices were operating on him. Needles and probes and other such objects were being forced into his body. They were injecting blood from many different animals into his blood just to see what would happen. While doing this they were also putting into his blood stream, a substance to make him sleep for many years. When they were finished, they stripped him down, put the monitors on his head and on his chest, and then put him into a huge tube filled with a jell type liquid.
Many years passed as his body changed and mutated. He turned into a monster. When he finally reganed consiousness, he realized he couldn't breath. He panicked and began going mad. He broke the ten inch thick glass tube by simply punching it. When he was out he began running around killing people, begining with the Chemist and his helpers. Then he began traveling the world in search of more lives to take, he had gone insane and cared about one thing, killing.
After he left the town he ran into a man that was dead. The man called himself Malakhyte. He took Xane and told him that he could use a man of his exact talents. They traveled onward until they entered Faerun. Malakhyte took Xane and made him a member of his guild, and told him that he would do anything that Mal said otherwise he would die. Xane had no problem with joining this guild because in this guild they love to kill. Which is his love, killing and leaving hurt and destruction in his wake. He now lives with Mal and his followers and lives for pain and desperation.
