Appearance: Gayle is pure gold through and through, a stunning sight on the beach at dawn, or any other place ay any other time. Her fur is sleek and smoothe, resting snug against her slim frame and making her look like she were carrved of living gold. Her eyes are a soft green, a startling change from the rest of her, and her tear lines deep black. The only other spot of black on her is at the very tip of her tail and running down her neck in one, neat line are spots of a soothing aqua blue.

History: Gayle is peaceful by nature, both from her Beach Kat blood and her Gold coloring. She has been advisor to many Clans in her lifetime and has even ventured into the swamps, Marsh Kat domain, and survived her encounters with them. Her open heart and quick concern for suffering has won her many friends over her lifetime.

The gentle gold kat took a mate from her clan in her third level, a young black male named Klindal in his fourth level that had been her dearest friend and childhood sweetheart. That union produced not the gold that had been hoped for, not even a kit with a Healing Touch ability, but a mundane female. Not one to be turned away from a kit, any kit, Gayle determined to be proud of her delicate daughter and raise her to make the best use of what few abilities were available to her. She and Klindal named the kit Hüshah.

It stunned the whole clan when, as Hüshah turned 27, she revealed that one rare ability was not forbidden the kit: Recognize. Unable to refuse her young daughter any opportunity, when Hüshah asked a few years later to be taken to Alcaine to learn the ways of the merchant, Gayle and Klindal left the clan with her to try their best to let her do so.

While Hüshah's efforts at trading failed miserably due to nothing more than prejudice, Gayle's status increased tremendously soon after entry into the kat city. The previous Beach kat elder had died not long ago and the remaining one approached the aging healer to ask her to take his place. Honored and pleased at the invitation and added ability to aid her fellow kats, Gayle agreed. She and her mate Klindal still live in Alcaine, the former as a Beach kat elder and the latter as her constant companion.
