Raised near the shores of the great wide ocean. No worries ever came to mind for a simple young lady raised by the most loving family. A small island home to a mere 10 families together living in peace and harmony away from the rubbish of the mad world. The island itself hidden away till the darkest night of the year. Pirates arrived looking for a place to hold up from the british armies. Screams could be heard as the young lady hid under the bed. Why had her world been torn apart in front of her eyes and why were they taking everything there small cove had worked for. Waiting what seemed an eternity,the young lass made her way out to see only 2 others had lived through the ordeal. The neighbors son Cord age 16 and his little sister Magey age 10. Nothing left the 3 survivors took to the life boats that had been stored for special ocassions and set sail for the nearest land of living people.

Insight was the land of Pangaea,docking there small ship all three hurried to find food and water. Five days of banana's and a short supply of water left them with aching bellies and dry thirst. Hurrying up towards the nearest village,eyes befall the real world and reality stung deep in there hearts. Beings and creatures there eyes had never seen before. Out of the shadows stepped a young lady and man though grabbing the three young children,mere words were spoken to them "Be quiet and we shall get you to a warm and dry place away from the slums of town. Placed into a plush carriage they rode for what seemed miles to a manor of extreme expense. Grass green as the leaves of the island trees went for miles,and a large wall of stone surrounded the manor which was at least 3 stories high. They were pushed from the carriage and hurried into the manor were servants quickly helped them bath and change into clothing they had only heard about through there parents. A massive table of various foods and drink awaited them in the large dining hall,out of respect for the couple that had brought them here,none went for the food immediate but sat down trying to remember there manners. The woman who had saved them sat next to the gentleman at the table and smiled at them,long streaked brown hair cascaded down a body of white lace upon her and the man long white covered his face and black clothing of exotic taste. Once given the order to eat,they ravaged the food no longer being able to wait.

With Full bellies and there thirst quenched,each was given a room with plush pillows upon a large velvet covered bed. Sleep did not take long,but the night did,horrors of the past few days took every ounce of thought they all had and when the sun rose,another horror would appear to young Sapphire. Cord and Magey were gone from there beds and the lady and man were nowhere to be found. The door to her room also locked and the windows barred shut. Had she walked into a trap placing her only friends in mortal danger. With nowhere to go,the young terrified lass sat in a corner crying in fear of what would happen to her and with no other thought and still tired fell asleep till the hand of the large hallway clock struck 7 times waking her from the slumber.

The door handled moved and white lace billowed across the way bringing forth the lady in white once more to her,no sound made but a long white laced hand outstretched towards her. Words would not come from her mouth,anger was built up inside,she wanted to know where her friends were and why they had been taken away from her. They were the only things left in her life that she knew from the island and she wanted them back. Instead her small head nodded bringing her wobbly hand to the lady,with a laugh the white laced lady took it whispering "Your friends are fine and safe,no need to worry of them,they are merely being taken care of by a well to do family down in the village,you on the other hand shall stay with us and learn of our life. Not of the blood shall you be,we would not curse such beauty to the darkness of hell that have been bestowed upon us. Just remember that all are not as they seem to this land." Words ended and her new life began in that hand. At the age of 18,young Sapphire would learn more about her life than most mortals do in a lifetime.
