Size:
This game is much larger than the previous Grand Theft. It has been said that it is almost 3 times as big as Liberty City. The first island that you start on has about 4 Save Points, instead of the one save point per island, and a huge beach that stretches all the way from top to bottom on the Eastern side of the Island. There are some buildings that you can also go in, there aren't many that I've seen so far, other than Malls, and the Tool shops, along with Ammu-Nation, but I'm sure they are others out there.
Apperance:
It is much more bright, and based in the 80's with the glowing neon lights at night, and the beautiful sunshine during the day. The beaches are not always packed with people, but occasionally, you can see sun-bathers laying back on towels (always fun to run over). And the water is finally clear, you can see straight to the bottom, and actually see it glisten. There are totally new cars, and a bunch of the Liberty City cars, like the Stallion, Infernus, and Land Stalker, totalling up to 120 cars. Most of them have that sportish-muscle type cars, but most of them aren't as fast as they look.
Hidden Packages
AS you know for every 10 hidden packages you find, you get some kind of reward delivered to your hideouts. Unlike in GTA 3, not all of your rewards go to one garage, your rewards are scattered around. For example, at 70 Hidden Packages, you get a Sea Sparrow, and that cannot be delivered to the Hotel.
