"LIOJUTH!" the archmage yelled, and all around the Weyr people jumped as his strong voice echoed throughout the place. "What do you think you're doing!? Look at this mess! Aren't you getting a little too old to be pulling this sort of thing?"
The brown weyrling looked at the old archmage a bit sorrowfully, dropping the shreds of the pillow. Then he smirked. You can fix it with you skill, you know. I've seen you do it before.
"That's not the point! You need to learn how to behave yourself, you'll be fully grown in not too long and you are still pulling these stunts. I doubt the Weyrling Master is happy about this, either."
The sunset dragon looked sulky as he laid down on his couch to watch the archmage use his magic to turn the shreds of cloth and feathers back into pillows. That must be a very handy skill, wish I could do that.
"I'm glad you can't! Who knows what kind of trouble you'd get into with magic. As it is I'm afraid I'll come back to find half the Weyr on fire one of these days!"
You know I wouldn't do that! How dare you think I would do such a thing! the dragon exclaimed, truly abhored that his bond would consider him bad enough to do such a thing!
"Alright, alright! Calm down, I know you wouldn't. Still, we need to teach you some tact. You need to learn to be a proper gentleman!"
Oh no....you mean I'm going to be like you? Old and grumpy and...
"Oh stop it! No, you're just going to learn to be a more respectable creature...not that you aren't, but it still needs a little work..."
I would think excelling in Weyrling Classes would be enough....but alright, I'll do it.
