Biography
Vanessa Cranston, known fondly by her friends as
"VanJanCran", was born on the warm summers eve of
August 17th, 1983. Although Vanessa currently lives
in our nation's capital, she considers Waverley, Nova
Scotia to be her true home. When Vanessa was 3, she
had the good fortune to be able to live in Itlay for a
year along with her mother, Sandra (note: Although
Sandra does work at CPA she is not, nor was she ever,
the crazy Film and Video teacher as the rumor had been
entailing...thanks Mark), her father Ray, and her
sister Emily. Vanessa has also had the opportunitly
to live in Hong Kong and visit such places as China,
Thailand and Maccau.
Vanessa has attended Waverley Memorial, L.C.Skerry
Elementary, Shatin College, Georges P. Vanier, and the
best high school ever Charles Pilbury Allen. As i was
saying earlier, Vanessa now lives in the beautiful
city of Ottawa, where she attends the University of
Ottawa.
When asked about her greatest accomplishments, Vanessa
replied that she feels that she has yet to accomplish
these things, although she does admit that getting her
current job as a Page in the House of Commons tops her
list of accomplishments thus far in her life. She
also includes that meeting Jamie Salé and David
Pelletier at the Olympic Celebration at Parliament on
April 15th was most likely the highlight of her
life...considering she is a retardedly avid fan of
figure skating.
Vanessa is someone who is somewhat prone to
embarassinbg herself, so funny stories on her part are
not hard to come by. Given that she spends many of
her days working side by side with poiticians, it is
understandable that she might have developed a "crush"
on a certain MP...cause he's really cute! Well, after
this MP did a huge favour for her and introduced her
dad to Joe Clark (former Prime Minster), she was
thanking him. And, well, she was kind of flustered
that he was paying so much attantion to her and she
was trying so gosh darn hard to say something clever
that she accidentally let slip out that she had, at
one time, had a picture him as the wallpaper on her
computer. The MP thought she was weird, and has
barely spoken to her since.
