The main requirement is post! Be active and creative, and we'll notice it.

  1. Potential Goldriders must have at least one other active, PC character.
  2. Potential Gold players must have an established knowledge of pern. ALl members must be familiar with the world, but Goldriders moreso.

  3. Frequent, creative posting. You must be able to initiate threads, and be ready and willing to respond to open threads.
  4. For Wingleaders/Master Crafters

  5. At least one other character.
  6. Frequent, quality posting.
  7. Knowledge of Craft.
  8. Like I said, not to strenuous! Just some things for us to go by, because choosing people for positions can be a difficult thing.

    Dragon sizes

    • Golds: 38 to 42 meters long.
    • Bronzes: 35 to 38 meters long.
    • Browns: 30 to 35 meters long.
    • Blues: 25 t0 30 meters long.
    • Greens: 20-25 meters long.

There can be some slight variations, a very large brown or very small gold, but nothing too far fetched.

    Weyr Rank

The rank in the weyr is very important. This is a list of who answers to who.

    • Weyrwoman. Everyone answers to her. Next is the Weyrwoman's second, and any other mature gold going down in that order.
    • Weyrleader: He's after the goldriders. He answers only to them. Then after him is the weyrleader second.
    • Weyrlingmaster: He's in charge of preapring the weyrlngs to be full fledged riders. He answers to WW and WLs.
    • Wingleaders: In charge of their specific wings and the riders in those wings.
    • Headwoman/man: In charge of all the daily trivial matters of the weyr, including inventory. Answers to WW, WLs.
    • Masters: Of any sort. They are in charge of all the journeymen and apprentices at the weyr.
    • Candidate Master: In charge of the candidates.
    • Weyrlings: Above apprentices and candidates, but at the same level as journeyman.
    • Candidates: The same as apprentices.
    • Drudges: The lowest, without even a shoulder knot to identify them.
