Alter Appearance: these creatures were made malleable by the powers that changed them (1). The creature can take other forms with the same number of limbs and of a similar weight and height, extending or decreasing height by 1', or by appearing to gain or increase weight by altering the density of their body. They can also mimic up to .5 ECL points of armour and natural attack options. To pose as an exact copy of another creature requires the Disguise skill, but receives a +4 bonus to this check. The changer can will a change each day for each point of Constitution bonus possessed, the changing process takes 1 round for a complete body change.
Chameleon Skin: this creatures body adapts in hue to the surround terrain, providing a +4 skill check to move unseen at a speed of 5, rising to +8 if the creature remains still. The colour changes can be unconscious i.e. the character has no control over them (.25), or can exert control over body hues with minimal mental effort (.5).
Damage Reduction: with extremely dense hide the creature soaks up weapon damage, Damage Reduction 3/- (.25), or 6/- (.5).
Fast Healing: these creatures heal damage extraordinarily fast, usually at a rate of 1 per round (.5) or 2 per round (1), and are subject to the rules in the 3rd ed DMG.
Form Shift
Requirement: Alter Appearance
The changer can change shape to the next size category i.e. from Medium to Large, or Medium to Small (1). Such changes in size require 5 rounds for the process to complete.
Malleable Body: the changer can make itself more flexible or pleasing/unsightly to the eye adding a bonus of +2 (.5) or +4 (1) to Dexterity or Charisma (the bonus can be reversed in the case of Charisma). These bonuses are malleable in that they may be interchanged to suit the changers needs, and split between the two abilities.
Poison: poison can be secreted through nails/claws or saliva allowing it to be transmitted by bite or spit.

Poison can be secreted once for each point of Constitution bonus per day. Different forms of poison can be produced but each raises the ECL (.25) i.e. the ability to produce both the above would raise the ECL by .5.
Silt/Dust Adaptation: the Changer can alter its body to create breathing filters and opaque eye lenses allowing them to survive when immersed in silt for 3 rounds per point of Constitution at any one time (.25). This also makes them immune to the effects of the Gray Death, as described in the Valley of Dust and Fire. The fine opaque membranes covering the eyes allows the creature a vision range as if the weather was one step better, but does not help total immersion in silt except to lessen discomfort.
Virulent Poison

The changer can increase the virulence of the poison increasing the DC by +3 (.25) or the amount of initial and secondary damage by one die (.25).
