Personality: Aramus is not necessarily a cocky man, but he is a proud man. Despite his lonely upbringing by himself, he is very proud of himself and all the things he has done in his life. As he is a thief, he is always a little paranoid about those around him, but not bad to the point that he won’t or can’t socialize, which he loves to do. Along with this hint of paranoia comes his cautious side, as he is always approaching things carefully and slowly, whether it is a job or something of that sort. Despite this though, he does tend to be carefree in social activities, whether it be dates or having a drink or two at the local pub. As a thief, he does tend to believe that he could steal anything in the world of Luminus, and it shows by his large ego, which also leads him to believe that he is better then most people. Also, he is ignorant to his past repercussions, mainly his two caught-in-the-act acts of thievery, which he escaped from unharmed.

He grew up without a family, and thus he does not have many emotions that are family related. He doesn’t mind talking about his past, but he does not regret it, saying it only made him mentally stronger. As stated before, he loves to socialize with any and all he comes into contact with, but steers away from his profession, opting to state he is a street magician. When it comes to working with others, he has absolutely no problem with it, especially when it is with other thieves, but also enjoys working with people of other professions, saying that it broadens his mind when he does. He is a native of Tin T’aevel and loves the kingdom, and he will give up his life for Tin T’aevel, not the king. He also enjoys being in the Akinaga Empire, stating that the two kingdoms are so closely related, in a social sense, but total opposites appearance wise.

History: Aramus was born to a normal family in Tin T’aevel, but soon after, his family moved to the Akinaga Empire and gave him away. He spent the next three years moving from family to family as he was a large burden for anyone to handle. Eventually, he ended up on the streets of the Akinaga Empire and began living off scraps that fell to the ground or from charity. At age six, he began his pick pocketing life, as he was horrible the first few years, gaining very little besides experience. Eventually, at the age of 11, he wandered back to Tin T’aevel, where he carried on his life of thievery, only this time better than before.

He spent two years in Tin T’aevel, all the while perfecting his skills of thievery, and even managed to steal his first whip from a traveler, but found that it was harder for a thief to live in Tin T’aevel than it was in the Akinaga Empire, so he moved back to the Empire and continued his life. At age 15, he managed to break into one of the Imperial Guard towers set up across the entire Empire and steal a heavily decorated katana right from under their noses. Aramus immediately sold it though, seeing no purpose to it, and used a little of the silver he received to buy his current whip. Figuring he had good luck at the Imperial Tower, to tried two more times to steal valuable items, but was caught in the act each time. Luckily, he escaped unscathed and remained another year in the Akinaga Empire.

A year passed and Aramus, now 16 years old, decided to try one more grand act of thievery before moving back to Tin T’aevel. Over the past year, he had taken a back seat to thievery and worked mainly on his skills with the whip and acrobatics. This act was meant to put all his skills to the ultimate test as he went to raid the Imperial Palace itself. The plan was flawless: jump an Imperial Guard and steal his uniform, make his way into the Palace, and when the opportunity presented itself, make a move. And that is what he did. He successfully made his way into the Palace in an Imperial Guard uniform and found a large Emerald in the treasure room. He managed to retrieve the emerald from it’s case and was on his way out when he was discovered. He was chased through the entire Akinaga Lands by the Imperial Guard, but they soon ceased the chase and Aramus got away. Unbeknownst to Aramus though, Emperor Yugashi witnessed the entire event and called off his guards, stating that the emerald was of no importance, and hoping that he would one day meet Aramus, who he thought possessed immense skill yet untapped, face to face. Aramus made his way out of the Akinaga Empire and back to Tin T’aevel, where he immediately sold the emerald and bought his thieves kit with the silver. It was know that he decided to dedicate his life to an act that will leave his name etched in the logs of history forever, and he set out to fulfill his dream.
