Personality: A sorcerer, pure and simple. He loves to practice and expand his magiks whenever he can. He prefers to be in the company of the elements, rather than the company of other living entities. Since he began his “study” of the arcane magiks, he has become a vagabond, a wanderer, traveling across the world, never staying in one location for more than a week at a time. Although he prefers the use of his magiks, he has learned and mastered the use of the scythe. Since traveling through the Time Rift, he has remained in the shadows, acting as a watcher, and taking notes on all characters he comes into contact with, with or without their knowing it.
Appearance: Despite his height, he has the appearance of being just flesh and bone. He wears a long black cloak with decorative dirt yellow trimming. On each of his fingers, he wears finger length rings made from dragon bones that are crafted to tips at the ends. His face looks like that of a normal human’s, but it is emotionless, especially his pure black eyes. His flesh is lightly tanned, but has a hint of pale in it. His hair is silver and down to his waist, which is pulled back and braided to the tip.
Weapon: Scythe
-His scythe measures about 5 ft. in length. The shaft is made of a large dragon bone, hallowed out and filled with steel. The shaft is also bound in smooth, brown leather and also has black hieroglyphics engraved on the exposed part of the bone, telling of it’s enchantment. The blade was carefully crafted by arcane blacksmiths, which is made of steel and measures 2 ˝ ft. in arced length and has dragon teeth molded into the blade across the entire top of the blade.
Techniques:
-Level 3: Lunar Eclipse: (Single Enemy)
-Summons energy drawn from the moon and transfers it into his scythe. He then hurls it into the air. Then, two crescent energy moons descend, spinning, down onto the foe, slicing through it as the moons dematerialize and the scythe lands in the ground, blade first.
-Level 5: Glimpse of Hell: (All Enemies)
-Concentrates and creates two discs of black energy and hurls them at his opponent. The discs then circle the enemies, cutting through the ground beneath them. As the discs dematerialize, the ground then erupts in a fiery explosion and the enemies fall into a pit of flames.
-Level 7: Hell’s Fury (All Enemies)
-Spins scythe above his head in circles at rapid speeds then drives the blade into the ground, transferring the energy gathered through the scythe and into the ground. The ground then begins to shake and numerous beams of black energy erupt from the ground, engulfing all enemies.
History: Astrole was born in a town which he cannot remember, nor could he care, but was taken from his parents after his birth. His kidnappers, who turned out to be a clan of “magik thieves”, brought Astrole, along with 9 other babies, before their master, a sorcerer named Nostrof. Nostrof, along with his sorcerer minions, began to feed the babies with dark magiks. As they grew, the weaker babies eventually died off until only Astrole remained. Nostrof then took Astrole under his wing and began teaching him his arcane magiks. At the age of 16, Nostrof bestowed his enchanted scythe onto Astrole and began teaching him the way of the scythe. At age 30, Nostrof cast a spell on Astrole, which ceased the aging process. Nostrof’s end was coming, and he felt it. And so, Nostrof challenged Astrole to a battle of the scythes, but Astrole refused. Nostrof attacked and Astrole had no choice but to defend himself. After a long and grueling battle, Nostrof eventually fell victim to Astrole’s scythe. With his last words, Nostrof bestowed his entire power onto Astrole before dying. Astrole buried Nostrof’s remains and disbanded his followers. After he gathered his needed items, Astrole sent out into the world as a vagabond. He traveled the world, all the while expanding and mastering his arcane magiks for more than 4 centuries, until one day he stumbled upon a Time Rift, of unexplainable cause. When he neared it, the amulet Nostrof bestowed upon him began to glow and Astrole reluctantly entered the rift, letting Fate decide his destiny.
